Reese Witherspoon was rushed to a hospital on Wednesday (September 7) after being struck by a car while out for a run.

The 35-year-old actress was hit in Santa Monica but “was not seriously injured and is resting comfortably at home,” her rep said in a statement to JustJared.com.

Police told E! Online that the car that hit Reese was going approximately 20 miles per hour.

Hope Reese has a full and speedy recovery!!

Ryan Phillippe takes his 11-year-old daughter Ava and 7-year-old son Deacon for a sushi snack on Saturday (July 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Just a week before, the 36-year-old actor was reportedly in the delivery room when his ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp welcomed their new baby daughter Kai.

“He is a good father, and whether this is his baby or not, he wants to do the right thing and be supportive,” a source told Us Weekly about Ryan‘s values.

“[Alexis] has never asked Ryan for any help, nor does she expect it,” her rep said.
