Kristen Wiig and husband Avi Rothman stepped out for a date night this weekend and there are some rare new photos of the couple together!

The 48-year-old actress was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant after a dinner date with Avi on Saturday night (August 7) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Kristen was all smiles while getting into the passenger seat of their car and heading home.

For those who don’t know, Kristen and Avi began dating in 2016 and they welcomed twins via surrogate in early 2020. She confirmed in early 2021 that they were married!

Kristen is currently filming the Apple TV+ series Mrs. American Pie. She will play Maxine Simmons, a woman striving to earn her place in Palm Beach high society.

“As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Mrs. American Pie asks the questions: Who gets a seat at the table? How do you get a seat at the table? And what will you sacrifice to get there?” Deadline writes.

Kristen Wiig welcomed twins into the world last year via surrogate and we finally have learned their names, one year later.

The 46-year-old actress revealed the names of her twins in the “Special Thanks” section of the end credits for her new movie Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.

Kristen co-wrote and starred in the new film with her longtime creative partner Annie Mumolo and they both thanked their families in the end credits.

The first names in the “Special Thanks” section are “Avi, Luna & Shiloh.”

As you might know, Kristen‘s husband is Avi Rothman, which means that Luna and Shiloh are likely the names of their twins. The next two names listed in the section are Annie‘s kids.

In an interview last week, Kristen opened up about life at home with her family during the pandemic.

The two have notoriously kept their relationship to themselves, and were first spotted together in Hawaii back in May of 2016, although they’d reportedly been dating before then.

The 47-year-old actress confirmed that she wed the writer-actor-director during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

“Besides the fact that we are where we are — it’s hard to not feel so much of the s— and struggle that’s going on — in my home, I’m very lucky about having these two babies and my husband,” Kristen said while discussing the pandemic. “They make it all better, and it’s changed my life.

Reports emerged in June of 2020 that the pair welcomed twins via a surrogate.

As of right now, no other details about the babies have been disclosed.

Kristen and Avi have been very quietly dating since 2016. It was reported back in August 2019 that the two were engaged.

Back in May, Kristen returned to host the Mother’s Day episode of Saturday Night Live, where she hinted at becoming a mother, by thanking her mom Laurie Johnston, for “preparing me to be a mom myself.”

Avi is a writer, actor, producer and director who trained at the Groundlings theater in Los Angeles – where Kristen also studied.

Kristen appeared on the Mother’s Day episode and opened up about how she appreciates her mom more this year than in the past 45 years of her life.

“I don’t know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I’m feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love. I’m so thankful for all the things she’s taught me, like preparing me to be a mom myself,” Kristen said.

Kristen Wiig and Avi Rothman are engaged!

The 45-year-old Saturday Night Live alum and her longtime boyfriend have been engaged “for several months,” according to TMZ on Friday (August 16).

According to the report, it’s unclear when the writer-actor-director popped the question to Kristen, but she was spotted wearing a ring as early as May of this year while attending the Booksmart premiere in Los Angeles.

The two have notoriously kept their relationship to themselves, and were first spotted together in Hawaii back in May of 2016, although they’d reportedly been dating before then.

Kristen was previously married to Hayes Hargrove from 2005 to 2009.

The 42-year-old Ghostbusters star is dating a handsome man named Avi Rothman, who she was spotted kissing in Hawaii recently.
