“Just finished my record and now I’m going to take some time for myself before I embark on my next artistic journey” the 27-year-old rocker tweeted before boarding her plane at LAX airport in Los Angeles.

Avril recently dished to the press about her latest Abbey Dawn clothing collection, saying it’s her sexiest yet.

“It’s a little more geared toward an older age group,” she said. “It’s feminine, it’s sexy, it’s flattering, it’s black, it’s rock ‘n’ roll.”

Avril Lavigne links arms with two gal pals while leaving Chateau Marmont on Wednesday (April 11) in Los Angeles.

Last month, the 27-year-old pop star visited her Avril Lavigne Rockstar Club at Easter Seals in southern California where she danced and sang karaoke with kids participating in the program.

“Dear Avril, I just want to thank you for your commitment to helping children with disabilities and your work with Easter Seals. The Easter Seals program has been vital for my son to have after-care once school is over,” one mom named Corky wrote to Avril.

“My son, Timmy is nonverbal and has autism. Since 6 [months old] he has always responded to music,” she added. “He can read and is absolutely mesmerized and motivated by the karaoke machine. Thank you again for improving the quality of my son’s and all of the children’s experience at Easter Seals.”

Avril Lavigne meets up with Rumer Willis at Just Jared‘s 30th birthday bash held at Pink Taco Sunset Strip on Friday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old singer hit up the dance floor, where Chris Masterson and Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza DJ’ed the whole night. Avril went crazy on the dance floor, whipping her hair to Rihanna‘s “We Found Love” and Azealia Banks‘ “212.”

Also at Katsuya that night was Avril‘s ex-husband and pal Deryck Whibley, who was with his girlfriend, actress Jocelyn Aguilar.

Avril recently wrapped up her international Black Star tour. She filmed a video to her song “Goodbye” with her pal Mark Liddell as a farewell to her fans.

The 27-year-old singer released the special vid for her fans to mark the end of her Black Star tour.

“Here it is #LittleBlackStars! My special video to thank you for an amazing Goodbye Lullaby year! Love you! xo” Avril tweeted, along with a link to the video.

The video, which was shot by her pal Mark Liddell at the Chateau Marmont, includes a special introduction by Avril saying how much she loved performing on the tour!

Avril is also urging her fans to show their support by donating to the Avril Lavigne Foundation to help sick and disabled children.
