Canadian actor Luke Macfarlane promotes his hit drama, Brothers & Sisters, with his costars Balthazar Getty and Dave Annable during the first day of the 2008 Rome Fiction Fest on Monday in Rome, Italy.

Luke, 28, Balthazar, 33, and Dave, 28, were all interviewed during the photo call. When asked what they have in common with the characters they play, Dave affirmed the importance of telling stories like his character does. Luke replied that that he feels similar to his own character for his humor. And Balthazar relates to his own character’s honesty.

Macfarlane, who came out of the closet in April, was also around to promote his new TV mini-series, Iron Road.

Actor Balthazar Getty (Brothers & Sisters) arrived at the 2007 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, June 1, 2007.

Getty, 32, presented the “Supporting Actress for a television series, mini-series, or TV movie” award on stage with actress Judy Reyes (Scrubs).

"Maternal Instinct" / "S.O.S." Episode Synopses ::  Jack calls on former Agent Weiss (Greg Grunberg) and the APO team to search for Sydney after receiving a distress call from her. But Jack believes that a larger conspiracy may be in play, thwarting their attempts to rescue her. Meanwhile, Tom’s suspicious actions may suggest he has a hidden agenda, Irina Derevko (Lena Olin) is a surprise partner to Jack and a very pregnant Sydney on a mission to retrieve "The Horizon" – but her allegiances still remain in question — and Sloane is forced to scramble when Devlin suspects a mole is working inside APO.

SPOILERS :: Alias returns with a two-hour event on Wednesday, April 19 (8-10PM ET/PT) on ABC featuring the episodes "S.O.S." and "Maternal Instinct."  The series finale will air on Wendesday, May 22 with a two-hour episode.  I will enter a mourning period when Alias ends!  I’ve been there for all five seasons and I am loving the new cast additions — Balthazar Getty and Rachel Nichols.  And you can’t forget about the irreplaceable Jennifer Garner.
