Barbara Cook has passed away after battling respiratory failure at the age of 89.
The 89-year-old entertainer died at her home in Manhattan surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday (August 8), THR reports.
She performed in many musicals on Broadway including She Loves Me, The Music Man, Candide, and performed cabarets and shows at Carnegie Hall and numerous other venues. She won a Tony and was part of the Kennedy Center Honorees in 2011.
