Here’s the film’s synopsis: Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire), a Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio). He is drawn into Gatsby’s circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy.
Baz Lurhmann was injured on the set of The Great Gatsby on Thursday (December 22).
The 49-year-old Aussie director required three stitches after bumping into a camera crane, Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald reports.
”We were on quite a cramped set and he was ducking under the crane,” co-producer Anton Monsted told the Herald. ”He struck his head on the weights on the end of the camera crane. He split open his head and we had to get the doctor.”
