The 42-year-old actor will be heading to Comic-Con this weekend with the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and some exciting news was just announced!
Ben is reportedly going to direct and star in a standalone Batman movie. He is even going to co-write the film with DC Comics chief creative officer Geoff Johns, according to Deadline.
The script is expected to be finished by the end of the summer and the movie will shoot after Ben finishes work on his upcoming film Live By Night, which he postponed to do Batman v Superman. The plot will revolve around what Batman is up to after both this upcoming movie and Justice League, which will be released in November 2017.
