The cast of Oppenheimer had a fantastic evening at the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday (February 24).

The cast of the blockbuster movie went into the awards show with four nominations and took home three of them!

Cillian Murphy was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Robert Downey Jr. took home Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role and the cast beat out the competition to win Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Emma Stone had a busy 24 hours after winning a Golden Globe!

The 35-year-old actress was back on the red carpet for the season finale premiere of The Curse held at the Fine Arts Theaters on Monday (January 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif. She was joined by her producer husband Dave McCary, as well as co-stars Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, who co-created, executive produced and wrote the show.

The show is described as a “genre-bending SHOWTIME® series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show.”

Benny Safdie got his start in Hollywood as a director alongside his brother Josh, but now they’ve gone their separate ways.

The Safdie Brothers directed five movies together: 2009′s Daddy Longlegs, 2013′s Lenny Cooke, 2014′s Heaven Knows What, 2017′s Good Time, and 2019′s Uncut Gems.

Benny recently has been having success as an actor with roles in films like Licorice Pizza, Oppenheimer, and Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, as well as the new Showtime series The Curse.

In a new interview, he explained his professional split from his brother.

Lily Gladstone and Charles Melton were among the big winners at the 2024 New York Film Critics Circle Awards this week!

The rising stars were both in attendance at the event on Wednesday night (January 3) at TAO Downtown in New York City.

Lily won the Best Actress award for Killers of the Flower Moon while Charles took home the Best Supporting Actor prize for May December.

Best Actor went to Passages‘ Franz Rogowski and Best Supporting Actress went to The Holdovers‘ Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

Emma Stone is stepping out to promote her new Showtime dark comedy series!

The 35-year-old Oscar-winning actress and producer-husband Dave McCary joined Nathan Fielder at The Curse All-Guild FYC Event on Friday night (December 29) at Midnight Theatre in New York City.

Also in attendance at the event was Benny Safdie, who co-created the series and also stars in it alongside Emma and Nathan.

There’s a new update on Dwayne Johnson‘s biographical movie about MMA fighter Mark Kerr!

The 51-year-old former WWE wrestler and actor is set to star in and executive produce the upcoming movie, which has now landed financing from A24, THR reports.

If you recall, A24 is also producing the upcoming Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White movie The Iron Claw, which centers on the Von Erich brothers, who made history in professional wrestling in the 1980s.

The Mark Kerr biopic has been in the works for several years, and it was just revealed that one of the actors from Oppenheimer has written the script and will direct!

The 2023 Gotham Awards ceremony is officially kicking off awards season and so many A-list celebrities were in attendance!

The awards ceremony was held on Monday night (November 27) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

In the past, the Gothams only celebrated independent films, but they have removed the requirement that all projects are made for under $35 million. Now, some of the contenders this year include big budget movies like Barbie.

The awards show also took away gendered acting categories, opting for an Outstanding Lead Performance category and an Outstanding Supporting Performance category with 10 nominees in each one.
