Sara Bareilles Joins 'Waitress' Star Betsy Wolfe for Carnegie Hall Concert!

Sara Bareilles hits the stage with her friend Betsy Wolfe for a performance at the New York Pops’ Women of Note concert at Carnegie Hall on Friday (November 17) in New York City.

Betsy, who is currently starring in Sara‘s Broadway show Waitress, headlined the concert with fellow Broadway star Adam Kantor. They celebrated the music written by female composers all night long.

The evening ended with Sara joining Betsy for a performance of her song “Chasing the Sun.” Ingrid Michaelson also performed with Betsy.

Adam was joined on stage by guest performers Georgia Stitt and Shaina Taub, both of whom played the piano while he sang their songs.

FYI: Sara is wearing a Mario Dice dress and Le Silla heels.

Sara Bareilles Welcomes Jason Mraz to 'Waitress' Cast!

Sara Bareilles might not be in the cast of Waitress on Broadway anymore, but she’s still just as involved with the show and just helped welcome Jason Mraz to the musical!

The Grammy-nominated performer appeared on stage during the curtain call to hand Jason flowers on Friday night (November 3) in New York City.

It was Jason and fellow cast member David Josefsberg‘s first performances in the hit musical.

“Such a beautiful night. thank you all. xo,” Sara tweeted about the evening.

Jason is playing a strictly limited, 10-week engagement in the show!

Jason Mraz is joining the cast of Waitress on Broadway this week and the show’s composer Sara Bareilles helped welcome him to the Great White Way at a special event!

The two music stars joined the show’s current leading lady Betsy Wolfe for a Q&A at the YouTube Space NY on Monday morning (October 30) in New York City.

The entire event was live streamed on Jason‘s YouTube channel and you can watch it below.

Jason and Betsy sang the songs “It Only Takes a Taste” and “Bad Idea” and then Jason sang his song “93 Million Miles.” He was also interviewed by Sara!

Andrew Rannells & 'Falsettos' Cast Celebrate Opening Night

Andrew Rannells pairs his suit with a cool pair of sneakers while at the opening of his musical Falsettos on Thursday night (October 27) in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor was joined on the carpet by his co-stars Betsy Wolfe, Tracie Thoms, Anthony Rosenthal, Christian Borle, Stephanie J. Block and Brandon Uranowitz.

Darren Criss Helps Celebrate 'Dear Evan Hansen' Off-Broadway Opening!

Darren Criss is dapper in a suit while arriving at the Off-Broadway opening celebration of Dear Evan Hansen held at the Second Stage Theatre on (May 1) in New York City.

The 29-year-old actor was joined at the event by Betsy Wolfe, as well as star-writer of the play Ben Platt and the rest of his co-stars.

Dear Evan Hansen is described as follows: “All his life Evan Hansen has felt invisible. To his peers, to the girl he loves, sometimes even to his own mother. But that was before he wrote the letter — that led to the incident— that started the lie — that ignited a movement – that inspired a community — and changed Evan’s status from the ultimate outsider into the somebody everyone wants to know. Betsy Wolfe Wins Role of Elsa in 'Frozen' Musical

Broadway vet Betsy Wolfe will be starring as Queen Elsa in the upcoming Frozen musical.

The 33-year-old Broadway veteran, who’s known for her roles in Bullets Over Broadway and Everyday Rapture, reunites her with Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who she worked with on Up Here in San Diego in 2015.

The Frozen musical will be directed by Alex Timbers and is set to hit the Broadway stage at the St. James Theatre in spring 2018 after the premiere in 2017 in Denver, Colorado.
