Ryan Reynolds and Betty White: exes!? That is what Ryan is saying in his funny birthday message to the legendary star!

“I don’t usually wish ex-girlfriends Happy Birthday,” Ryan posted on his Instagram account in a photo of him and Betty on a late night show. “But Betty’s special. Happy Birthday to the one and only, @bettymwhite.”

Betty White appears on stage for a surprise appearance at the 2018 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Monday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The 96-year-old actress received a standing ovation from the audience and she gave a speech about being the “First Lady of Television.”

“Little did I dream then that I would be here. It’s incredible that I’m still in this business and you are still putting up with me,” she said.

She added, “It’s incredible that you can stay in a career this long and still have people put up with you. I wish they did that at home.”

When the 39-year-old actress and the 96-year-old entertainer first became friends, the duo went out for a night of pizza and vodka!

“We went out and I was like ‘I’m going on a date with Betty White!’ It was the most nervous date I’ve ever been on in my life,” Jennifer explained.

She continued to say that both of them got a little too drunk and Betty almost ended up falling in the bushes!

“I was like ‘Oh my God! I am like the bodyguard of a national treasure! You have got to snap it together and don’t kill Betty White!” she joked.

Betty White is getting ready to celebrate her 96th birthday!

Ahead of her birthday on January 17, the Golden Girls actress shared with Parade mag her secrets behind living a long and happy life.

“Accentuate the positive, not the negative,” Betty revealed. “It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about, rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look.”

As for eating habits, Betty said she doesn’t restrict her diet to only kale and health foods, but instead eats things that she loves namely vodka and hot dogs, “probably in that order!”

Betty went on the share some advice behind her 70 year career in Hollywood starring in countless hit TV shows and movies.

“Learn your lines and come in prepared,” Betty said. “Don’t think you can wing it, because you can’t. We’re in show business, which is fun, but take your business seriously, because it is a serious business.”

The legendary 95-year-old actress was honored for her amazing legacy on television and for being a trailblazer in the industry.

“I am thrilled to be honored by the Paley Center. To be acknowledged for working in a business I love for as long as I have is truly a privilege. I’m proud to share this evening with these amazing and talented women,” Betty said.

Some of the other stars in attendance included Portia Doubleday, Wanda Sykes, Sasha Alexander, Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Dana Delaney.

Betty White is speaking out to pay tribute to her late friend and former co-star Mary Tyler Moore after the legendary actress passed away this week.

The ladies worked together on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Betty joined the show mid-way through the series in 1973 and won two Emmys for her work.

Betty shared a photo of her and Mary with their former spouses, Allen Ludden and Grant Tinker, respectively.

“Mary Tyler Moore, Grant Tinker, Allen Ludden and I had some of the best times of my life together. She was special,” she captioned the pic on Instagram.

Allen passed away in 1981. Grant was married to Mary until 1981 and he died this past November.

Happy 95th birthday, Betty White!

The fan-favorite actress turns 95 years old today, and recently sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big milestone.

“I just appreciate the fact that people have been so kind to me all these years,” Betty said. She’s enjoyed a career spanning over seven decades! “The fact that I’m still working. That’s the thing I’m most grateful for�”that I still get asked for jobs.”

At the end of 2016, a GoFundMe campaign was started to help protect Betty after so many celebrity deaths occurred. In response, Betty said her fans “spoil her rotten” but she “enjoys every minute of it.”
