Rihanna Clears Up Beyonce Feud Rumors: 'We Don't Need to Be Putting Black Women Against Each Other'

Rihanna is clarifying that she’s not jealous or feuding with Beyonce over their Grammy nominations.

If you didn’t know, Rihanna‘s fans had a theory that the Recording Academy purposely kept Ri‘s nomination count at 8 so Beyonce would have the most with 9. Last night, Ri liked a photo that made it seem as if she supported that theory.

Today, Rihanna reportedly posted a caption on the photo to clarify.

“I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!,” Rihanna reportedly wrote as a caption.

“When you say divided states of America, I didn’t divide them. They’re divided now,” Donald added about the magazine’s headline. “There is a lot of division but we’re going to put it back together and we’re going to have a country that is very well healed. Beyonce Could Make History at Grammys 2017!

Did you know that Beyonce could make history on February 12, 2017…aka Grammys night!

If you didn’t already know, the 35-year-old superstar was nominated for a whopping 9 nominations today.

For starters, Bey is the most nominated female artist in history with 62 nods to her name. The next closest would be Dolly Parton with 47! Beyonce has won 20 times thus far.

On Grammys night, Beyonce could become the most Grammy winning female artist in history! Currently, bluegrass singer Alison Krauss holds that record with 27 wins. If Beyonce wins 8 of her 9 nominations, she will surpass Alison and make history.

In addition, If Bey takes home all 9 awards, she will be the artist with the most wins in one night – of all time! Michael Jackson took home 8 awards back in 1984, and Santana also took home 8 awards in 2000, and those are the current records.

One more honor that Beyonce could achieve is the most Grammys won by a female in one night. Currently, Bey and Adele are tied at 6 for this record, so Beyonce would need to win at least 7 to win. Adele is currently nominated for five awards.

Best of luck to all of the nominees!

Beyonce & Destiny's Child Reunite to Do Mannequin Challenge!

If you don’t know what the Mannequin Challenge is yet, you better start figuring it out as Beyonce has put her stamp of approval on the viral trend!

The 35-year-old superstar reunited with Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a cute video of them doing the challenge in which the subjects freeze while the camera person moves around the room.

In case you didn’t know already, Destiny’s Child recently recreated an official Instagram account just a couple weeks ago.
