Donald Trump Says Beyonce Campaigning for Hillary Clinton is 'Almost Like Cheating'

Donald Trump is sharing his opinion about celebrities rallying for particular candidates.

At a campaign rally held on Saturday afternoon (November 5) in Reno, Nev., the Republican presidential nominee expressed his belief that the practice is totally unfair.

“On quick notice, we didn’t bring any so-called stars along – we didn’t need them,” Donald told the crowd. “The reason Hillary [Clinton] has to do that is, nobody comes for her. She can’t fill a room. That’s almost like a form of cheating, right?”

However, celebrities publicly show their support for particular candidates all the time – like Beyonce and Jay-Z did at a rally to drum up votes for Hillary last night.

During the middle of his speech, Donald was rushed off stage by two secret service agents, and armed personnel went into the crowd to handcuff a man whom they thought might be a threat.

No weapon was discovered on the man, a law enforcement official later confirmed to CNN.

“I would like to thank the United States Secret Service and the law enforcement resources in Reno and the state of Nevada for their fast and professional response,” Donald said in a statement after the rally. “I also want to thank the many thousands of people present for their unwavering and unbelievable support. Nothing will stop us – we will make America great again!”

The power couple not only took the stage to perform their hits, but also made poignant statements about the upcoming election.

“Less than 100 years ago, women did not have the right to vote. Look how far we’ve come from having no voice to being on the brink of making history by electing the first woman president…I want my daughter to grow up seeing a women lead our country and knowing that her possibilities are limitless. And that’s why I am with her,” Beyonce said on stage.

Jay Z added, “I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she has no limitations. She feels like she can be whatever she wants to be in the world.”

Later, Hillary took the stage and quoted Jay Z‘s song “My President” saying, “Jay memorably said something we should all recall: ‘Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk. And Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run. And Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly!’”

CMAs Site Seemingly Erases Beyonce Mentions After Backlash

Beyonce‘s performance at the 2016 CMA Awards was probably one of the most talked about moments of the night, but mentions of the appearance were seemingly erased from the show’s website.

The entertainer sang a new version of her song “Daddy Lessons” featuring the Dixie Chicks and got a lot of acclaim from fans.

Sadly, there was also backlash from some country music fans who said that Beyonce did not have a place at the show. After the backlash was heard, all evidence of the performance was seemingly erased from the CMAs’ website and social media accounts.

This move then received criticism and the CMA account on Facebook ended up sharing the Dixie Chicks‘ post about the performance.

The Country Music Association released this statement: “CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyonce’s performance on the CMA Awards. In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a five-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA’s Facebook page. The promo was unapproved and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyonce’s performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.”

DO YOU THINK Beyonce’s performance at the CMA Awards was appropriate?
