Some fans thought they spotted Beyonce in the crowd at the 2022 U.S. Open, but it was actually actress Laverne Cox!

The 50-year-old four-time Emmy-nominated actress from Orange Is the New Black was sitting in the stands in an all-black outfit and a matching black face mask on Monday night (August 29) in New York City.

Laverne was at the match to cheer on Serena Williams, who is playing in her final U.S. Open ahead of her retirement from tennis.

TS Madison is opening up about being sampled by Beyoncé.

The 44-year-old actress and TV personality got candid in an interview with Essence about her 2020 YouTube video titled “B**ch, I’m Black” being used in Renaissance album track “Cozy.”

“That video was me arguing with America. We as Black trans people know that it’s our responsibility to stand up and fight against the injustice against George Floyd. But Iyanna Dior is a trans woman who was beaten in the same city, in the same week almost, and everybody was blaming her for being trans and all of these Black people were beating her in the store,” TS Madison explained of what prompted her to make that video.

The 63-year-old “Vogue” icon shared a snap of a bouquet of flowers sent to her by the 40-year-old Renaissance superstar on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (August 9), following the release of their “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix),” which mixes together elements of “Vogue” and “Break My Soul.”

Beyonce‘s new album Renaissance has been in stores for more than a week and it officially has topped the charts for the first week of release!

Billboard just reported the sales numbers for Renaissance‘s first week and it marks the biggest opening week for a female artist in 2022 and the first album released this year by a woman to top the Billboard 200 chart.

All seven of Beyonce‘s solo studio albums have now charted at number one on the Billboard 200, starting with 2003′s Dangerously in Love.
