Bill O'Reilly Reportedly Paid $32 Million Settlement in Sexual Harassment Suit

Bill O’Reilly reportedly settled a sexual harassment suit for $32 million earlier this year, months before he was fired by Fox News.

The New York Times reported that an analyst at Fox News made allegations of “repeated harassment, a nonconsensual sexual relationship and the sending of gay pornography and other sexually explicit material to her.”

The report claims that the case was settled just 15 days after the complaints were made in January.

“It’s politically and financially motivated, and we can prove it with shocking information, but I’m not going to sit here in a courtroom for a year and a half and let my kids get beaten up every single day of their lives by a tabloid press that would sit there, and you know it,” O’Reilly said in an interview about the report.

Bill O'Reilly Might Be Dropped by Fox News Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

It looks like Bill O’Reilly‘s days at Fox News might be numbered as a report says the network is “preparing to cut ties” with him amid a sexual harassment scandal.

Multiple women have come forward with claims that the political commentator has sexually harassed them and a report claimed that five women were paid a collective $13 million by the television personality to keep quiet about the allegations.

“A final decision on Mr. O’Reilly’s fate could come as early as the next several days,” the Wall Street Journal has reported.

It’s important to note that the WSJ is owned by Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch, so it’s significant that the outlet is breaking this news.

Maxine Waters Responds to Bill O'Reilly: 'I Cannot Be Intimidated'

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is speaking out after Bill O’Reilly made a racist and sexist comment about her.

During a segment on his show, O’Reilly said he was “looking at the James Brown wig.” He later apologized for his remark, but then seemingly attacked her again that evening.

Waters took the high road when asked to comment on the remarks during her appearance on MSNBC on Tuesday night (March 28).

“I am a strong black woman, and I cannot be intimidated. I cannot be undermined,” Waters said. “I cannot be thought to be a friend of Bill O’Reilly or anybody. And I’d like to say to women out there everywhere: Don’t allow these right-wing talking heads, these dishonorable people, to intimidate you or scare you. Be who you are. Do what you do. And let us get on with discussing the real issues of this country.”
