Billy Ray Cyrus is jumping on Lil Nas X‘s viral hit single, “Old Town Road”!

The 57-year-old “Achy Breaky Heart” revealed his remix of the 19-year-old rapper’s smash hit on Friday (April 5).

The remix comes after Billboard deemed that the song allegedly didn’t contain enough country elements to be considered on the Hot Country Songs chart.

“It was so obvious to me after hearing the song just one time. I was thinking, what’s not country about it? What’s the rudimentary element of a country and western song? Then I thought, it’s honest, humble, and has an infectious hook, and a banjo. What the hell more do ya need?” Billy Ray tweeted.

Miley Cyrus is radiating joy while walking the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old singer wore a black suit with no top underneath the jacket. She was joined by her parents Billy Ray and Tish.

Miley will be performing multiple times during the show this evening. She is part of a tribute to her godmother Dolly Parton and she is also joining Shawn Mendes for a collaboration!

Earlier in the weekend, she teamed up with Shawn for a performance at the MusiCares gala!

Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes hit the red carpet together at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala!

The duo stepped out to help honor Dolly Parton at the event on Friday night (February 8) at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

On the carpet, Miley also posed alongside her godmother Dolly as well as her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. Billie Lourd was also in attendance.

During the show, Miley and Shawn took the stage to perform Dolly‘s hit “Islands in the Stream.”

“It’s YOUR night Aunt @dollyparton ! Beyond deserved ! Can’t wait to see y’all perform! @reallindaperry,” Miley captioned a video on her Instagram ahead of the show.

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus are two proud parents!

Miley Cyrus‘ mom took to Instagram on Thursday (December 27) to share a couple more photos from her daughter and Liam Hemsworth‘s recent nuptials.

In one photo, the 26-year-old bride stuns in her Vivienne Westwood wedding dress while carrying a bouquet as she poses with her parents under an archway of flowers.

“This makes my heart so happy…” Tish captioned the photo along with a heart emoji. In the second photo, Miley cozies up to her dad Billy Ray.

Miley and Liam got married in front of loved ones at their home in Franklin, Tenn. on December 23.

After performing the rock icon’s 1994 song “Wildflowers” on Stern Show, the 24-year-old Younger Now superstar brought the track to the main stage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, for an emotional rendition of the track.

In the upcoming episode, Miley Cyrus and her parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, as well as siblings Noah, Brandi, Trace and Braison get behind the wheel and have some fun as they drive around together.

Miley and her family crew are set to sing Bruno Mars‘ hit single “24K Magic” and “Achy Breaky Heart,” Billy Ray‘s iconic hit song that was released in 1992.

The Cyrus Family episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series debuts on Tuesday, August 29 on Apple Music at 6pm PT – Watch the preview for the upcoming episode below!
