Black Mirror is coming back!

Season 7 of the hit Netflix series will return on the streamer in 2025, the company announced Thursday (March 14).

The Charlie Brooker-created anthology series is already in production on six brand new episodes slated for the seventh season next year.

There’s also one teaser so far: one of the episodes will be a sequel to the fan-favorite Season 4 opener, USS Callister.

Via Netflix: “The episode starred Jesse Plemons as Robert Daly, a brilliant but troubled programmer who co-founded a popular online video game. Unhappy with a perceived lack of recognition at his gaming company, Robert created a simulated reality within the game, giving himself the role of a Captain Kirk–like figure aboard a starship and leading an adoring crew — based on his real-life co-workers — on zany sci-fi adventures. Of course, because this is Black Mirror, things took an unexpected and sinister turn. Captain Robert Daly may have died in the original episode, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning…

Black Mirror has been renewed for a seventh season by Netflix!

Charlie Brooker‘s hit science fiction show returned in 2023 after being on hiatus for over four years. Season 6 had five episodes with actors including Salma Hayek, Annie Murphy, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, and more.

Miley Cyrus is revealing what really went down while filming Black Mirror.

The 30-year-old superstar spoke about her 2019 Black Mirror episode, “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too,” in which a lonely teenager yearns to connect with her favorite pop star Ashley O – whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy as it appears.

“I was filming Black Mirror, and while I was there, the Woolsey Fires happened in Malibu,” she began.

Black Mirror is coming back!

Season 6 of the Netflix series premieres in June, and a ton of guest stars are featured in the upcoming season.

While the show’s episodes have always been standalone, creator Charlie Brooker hints that Season 6 follows a new model, as the straemer notes “the sixth season of Black Mirror is the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet.”
