Now that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is playing in theaters everywhere, let’s talk about some of those surprises in the film.

This post is going to be filled with spoilers, so beware of reading further if you haven’t seen the movie yet. It seems plenty of you probably have watched the movie already though, considering it grossed $180 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend!

While several big stars were already set for the film, including Lupita Nyong’o and Angela Bassett, there were several celebs who made unexpected appearances throughout the movie. There was even the surprise return of one star from the first Black Panther film.

'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Opens With Staggering $330 Million Worldwide Sales & $180 Million In US

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is off to a strong start.

The second installment in Marvel‘s Black Panther saga opened in theaters on Friday (November 11) and had a very impressive weekend for ticket sales.

According to Variety, the movie opened with sales of $180 million in the United States. That was enough to easily best the previous record of November sales, which was set by 2013′s Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The former record-holder’s total was $158 million, meaning Wakanda Forever sold more than $20 million more.
