Now that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is playing in theaters everywhere, let’s talk about some of those surprises in the film.

This post is going to be filled with spoilers, so beware of reading further if you haven’t seen the movie yet. It seems plenty of you probably have watched the movie already though, considering it grossed $180 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend!

While several big stars were already set for the film, including Lupita Nyong’o and Angela Bassett, there were several celebs who made unexpected appearances throughout the movie. There was even the surprise return of one star from the first Black Panther film.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is off to a strong start.

The second installment in Marvel‘s Black Panther saga opened in theaters on Friday (November 11) and had a very impressive weekend for ticket sales.

According to Variety, the movie opened with sales of $180 million in the United States. That was enough to easily best the previous record of November sales, which was set by 2013′s Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The former record-holder’s total was $158 million, meaning Wakanda Forever sold more than $20 million more.

There’s a familiar face from the original Black Panther movie that you’re not going to see in the new sequel, Wakanda Forever.

Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya, who played W’Kabi in the first film, did not return for the second one and director Ryan Coogler is explaining why.

The events of the first film seemingly explain why he’s not in the sequel, but we’re pretty sure the writers could have figured out a way to include him if they wanted.

Dominique Thorne is opening up about stepping on screen as Ironheart in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The 25-year-old actress, who will play the same character in the Disney+ series, chatted with Variety about the suit that she wears.

The 64-year-old actress is predicted to earn a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the upcoming Oscars for her role as Ramonda.

Namor is a major character that is introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and actor Tenoch Huerta Mejia is sharing some info an the “anti-hero.”

The character is the king of Talokan, a hidden undersea nation.

In a recent interview, Tenoch confirmed the age of Namor and he’s actually older than Captain America and most of the other characters in the MCU.
