We’re not even a full month into 2024, and we’ve already gotten so much new music!

We’ve been diving into new bops and bangers, but we’ve also been celebrating special anniversaries for some of our favorite hits from yesteryear.

For example, Ariana Grande‘s “7 rings” turns 5, Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off” debuted 10 years ago, Lady Gaga‘s “Bad Romance” will be 15, Usher‘s “Yeah” is almost old enough to drink and Christina Aguilera‘s “Genie in a Bottle” is celebrating its 25th birthday!

That’s barely scratching the surface, too. With the new year so close, we dug through the archives and pulled together 50 songs that have special birthdays in 2024.

Anthony Anderson is taking over the stage!

The 53-year-old star kicked off his hosting duties at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday (January 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The show started with a musical number paying tribute to hit TV theme songs alongside his mother, Doris Bowman, Blink-182’s Travis Barker, and actress Christina Applegate, who previously revealed her MS diagnosis.

2024 is right around the corner, and so much new music is expected in the coming 12 months.

The new year is also going to be a special one for a multitude of songs that are celebrating special anniversaries.

Blink-182 is hitting the road in a huge way.

The band announced they will be back on the road in the summer of 2024 with a stadium and arena tour through North America and beyond.

Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker will hit some of the biggest venues nationwide next year, debuting their new album One More Time… for the first time in the U.S. and Canada.

The 30-city trek includes stadium performances at Petco Park in the band’s hometown of San Diego, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Citi Field in New York, Fenway Park in Boston, and Rogers Centre in Toronto, along with 25 arena performances.

The band’s new album, which currently features 2 No. 1 singles (“Edging” and “One More Time”), marks the first time in a decade that Mark, Tom and Travis have been in the studio together.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, October 27 at 10 a.m. local time on blink182.com.

The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Blink-182 is back!

The band will release their new album One More Time… on October 20 via Columbia Records, they announced alongside a video trailer.

It’s the band’s first album with Tom DeLonge since he re-joined the band in 2022, nearly 10 years after the group released a record with original members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

The trailer features clips from their forthcoming conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and archival clips, and features three new songs including the title track “One More Time.”

Travis Barker is back on the road.

On Friday (September 8), the 47-year-old drummer and his Blink-182 band mates kicked off the delayed European leg of their tour with a show in Belgium, days after revealing his pregnant wife Kourtney Kardashian needed to have emergency fetal surgery.

On Friday morning (September 1), the band announced that a few of their upcoming shows had been postponed due to Travis Barker having an “urgent family matter.”
