Whitney Houston's Daughter Cast in Tyler Perry Show

Bobbi Kristina Brown is heading to Hollywood – she’s landed a recurring role in Tyler Perry‘s show For Better or Worse.

The 19-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown will be appearing in season 2 of the TBS sitcom, Tyler‘s rep confirms to ET.

“I have to carry on the legacy. We’re going to do the singing thing. Some acting, some dancing,” Bobbi Kristina recently told Oprah Winfrey a month after her mom’s death.

Tyler‘s For Better of Worse is based on characters from his film Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?.

Oprah Winfrey Lands Whitney Houston Family Interview

Oprah Winfrey has secured an interview with Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, for a TV special set to air on her Oprah Winfrey Network.

The 58-year-old media mogul’s Oprah’s Next Chapter will also include interviews with Whitney‘s sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, and her brother Gary, according to the Associated Press.

Oprah was reportedly one of the guests invited to Whitney‘s funeral in Newark, New Jersey, last month.

The powerhouse singer died February 11 at the age of 48. No official cause of death has been determined.

Oprah‘s interview with Whitney‘s family airs Sunday, March 11, at 9 p.m.
