Bobby Bones is Engaged to Caitlin Parker: 'I Am the Luckiest'

Bobby Bones is getting married!

The 40-year-old Bobby Bones Show host and American Idol mentor took to his Instagram on Sunday (October 11) to announce that he and girlfriend Caitlin Parker are engaged.

“I am the luckiest. I waited so long for the right one. And it payed off. Surprised her with a secret proposal in the barn in the backyard,” Bobby wrote along with several photos from his proposal. “After she said yes, our song ‘nothing left to lose’ by Mat Kearney was playing outside.”

“And it was @matkearney playing it,” Bobby continued. “She said it was at Mat’s concert during this song that she knew I was the one for her. So lucky he played it again for only us tonight. I’m so happy I get marry to love of my life.”

Bobby and Caitlin, 28, first met in late 2019 through mutual friend Lauren Alaina.

'Disney Family Singalong' Special Will Feature Stars Performing Beloved Songs from Home!

So many celebrities are set to appear in the upcoming ABC concert special, The Disney Family Singalong!

The special will feature celebs with their families as they take on their favorite Disney tunes from their homes. The one-hour special will air on Thursday (April 16) at 8pm ET.

Christina Aguilera, John Stamos, Josh Gad, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Buble, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Kenny Ortega, Jordan Fisher, Donny Osmond, Auliʻi Cravalho, Luke Evans, Bobby Bones, Erin Andrews, Carrie Ann Inaba, Amber Riley, and more stars are set to appear in the special. Ryan Seacrest will be hosting.

“If there’s something that we’ve all learned in the past few weeks, it’s to cherish every moment and the importance of connection, whether through laughter, stories or music,” says ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke. “We hope that we can help create some new unforgettable moments in everyone’s home in a way that only the magic of Disney can.”

Station 19 will be moving to the 9pm time slot on Thursday nights for the remainder of its season, filling the space vacated by Grey’s Anatomy. That show ended its season last night, four weeks earlier than planned.

Katy Perry goes pink for the American Idol season 18 premiere event held at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Wednesday night (February 12) in Hollywood.

The 35-year-old singer joined her fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, and mentor Bobby Bones at the event ahead of the premiere of the new season.

The event also featured a live performance from last year’s winner, Laine Hardy, who is hard at work on his debut album.

American Idol will debut on Sunday, February 16 on ABC.

Ryan Seacrest Falls Ill & Gets an 'American Idol' Host Replacement for a Day - Find Out Who!

Tonight’s American Idol episode will not feature Ryan Seacrest, who has hosted the show since season one. The reason why? Ryan fell ill and needed a last minute replacement!

The person he called to fill his shoes was radio host and DWTS winner Bobby Bones!

“I am not Ryan Seacrest,” Bobby says at the top of the episode (which was taped weeks ago). “I am Bobby Bones. Sadly, Ryan is sick and I look most like him so they asked me to fill his shoes tonight. Ryan, love you, buddy, hope you get better.”

About his absence, Ryan said, “Bobby was kind enough to fill in for Monday’s episode which we taped a few weeks ago, and I’m thinking, you know, the guy stepped in last-minute, did a great job. What do I get him? I got him some shoes!”

Bobby Bones Responds to Neil Patrick Harris 'Dancing With The Stars' Diss

Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t a fan of Bobby Bones winning Dancing With The Stars, but Bobby didn’t mind!

Following the season finale this week, Neil took to his Twitter to express disappointment about the results of the show.

Dancing With the Stars just confirmed why I don’t watch Dancing With the Stars,” Neil wrote.

Despite the diss, Bobby took to his Instagram to respond, first thanking fans profusely for voting.

“I’m such a big fan of Neil Patrick Harris, I don’t even care. I’m just happy he acknowledged that I existed,” Bobby said in the video.

Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess have given their final performance of this season of Dancing With The Stars!

The 38-year-old radio personality and his pro partner took to the dance floor for one last dance on Monday night (November 19) in Los Angeles.

The duo danced an incredible freestyle set to “The Greatest Show” performed by Panic! at the Disco.

After hearing the judge’s feedback, they picked up a perfect 30 out of 30 points.

The partners took to the dance floor to reprise their favorite dance from the season on Monday night (November 19) in Los Angeles.

Bobby and Sharna gave a strong performance, set to “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer.

After hearing the judge’s feedback, they picked up 24 out of 30 points.

Later in the show, the couple will take to the floor again to perform a freestyle dance.
