It’s been speculated that Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am would be working with rockers U2 on their upcoming album.

Rapper Kanye West just confirmed the news on his blog: “Will.i.am is producing U2‘s next album. I’m sure it will be dope as s— judging from the crazy beats he’s done in the past 3 years!”

Will.i.am has said, “I would love to do something with them. It that ever happens it would be a dream come true! I went to Bono’s house. He has these summer parties and I went and had great food. It was the best. Those guys are the nicest people in the world.”

Can’t wait to hear the album!!!!!

Bono attends the opening session of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) on Wednesday at the Sheraton Hotel in New York City.

President Clinton is hosting the fourth annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative, a gathering of politicians celebrities, philanthropists and business leaders to discuss pressing global issues.

“It is extraordinary to me that you can find $700 billion to save Wall Street and the entire G8 can’t find $25 billion to save 25,000 children who die every day of preventable treatable disease and hunger,” Bono told Clinton‘s fourth annual philanthropic summit in New York. “That’s mad, that is mad.”

“Bankruptcy is a serious business,” the 48-year-old U2 singer said, but added, “this is moral bankruptcy.”

Brad Pitt playfully tosses around his son, Pax, 4, on the balcony of Bono‘s mansion in Eze, France on Tuesday.

Not only was host Bono (of rock band U2) there, actor/director, Robert DeNiro and his family were also in attendance. De Niro, 64, was accompanied by his wife, Grace Hightower and their children: 12-year-old twins Julian and Aaron and son Elliot, 10.

Brad is pictured below having a chat with Grace. And from the looks of things, it looks like two of Brad’s other kids were there too. You can see the tops of Pax and Zahara‘s heads!

U2 frontman Bono gains an extra few inches in a pair of black platform shoes, aka creepers, at the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Party in Stud House, Hampton Court on Saturday in Kingston, England.

Accompanying him to the charity event was his wife Ali Hewson.

Bono is about 5’6″ tall and likes wearing shoes several inches high. On this occasion, his shoes featured cross-like symbols on the tops.

U2′s Bono met with French president Nicolas Sarkozy on Tuesday at the Elysee Palace in Paris, France.

Bono met with the leader to discuss Africa development issues and aid improvement. The two met earlier at the G8 summit in June 2007.

President Sarkozy has been making his own waves with his personal life with a possible engagement to model Carla Bruni. When is the U.S. going to have a supermodel First Lady?

Ashley Judd dons a purple-licious sari at the YouthAIDS Benefit Gala on Friday at the Ritz Carlton in Mclean, Virginia.

The 39-year-old actress is a “global ambassador” for YouthAIDS, a worldwide HIV/AIDS education and prevention effort. Ashley recently told press, “There is an extraordinary, compelling, urgent problem.”

On Nov. 30, the National Geographic Channel and nonprofit organization Cable Positive will premiere a new film India’s Hidden Plague, which features Judd. The special will be available nationally via video on demand.

Bono and his family vacation board a yacht in Naples on Saturday.

His wife Alison Hewson and their children, Jordan, Memphis Eve, Elijah and John vacation on the yacht named ‘Cyan.’

Last month, Bono was seen with Penelope Cruz and Helena Christensen.

Cruz, 33, campaigned with Bono against HIV in Africa and last year a celebrity magazine quoted her calling the Bono her “hero” because of his commitment and devotion to charity work.
