Broadway's 'Anastasia the Musical' Gets First Trailer - Watch Now!

A trailer for the new Broadway musical Anastasia has been released and it’s getting us so excited for the show to open next year!

The musical will be a fresh take on the classic animated film, which tells the story of a “brave young woman attempting to discover the mystery of her past while finding a place for herself in the rapidly changing world of a new century.”

The musical will feature such songs as “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December,” along with new music written just for the stage.

Christy Altomare is playing the title role while Derek Klena while be taking on her love interest, Dmitry.

Bette Midler's 'Hello, Dolly!' Breaks Broadway Records on First Day of Sale!

It looks like Bette Midler‘s upcoming revival of Hello, Dolly! is Broadway’s hottest new ticket!

On the first day of sale over the weekend, the show brought in a record breaking $9,082,497. This number gives the show the best first day of sales in the history of Broadway!

Hello, Dolly! is set to begin previews on March 15, 2017 at The Shubert Theatre. Opening night is set for April 20.

Broadway vets Kate Baldwin, Gavin Creel, and Jennifer Simard are also set to star in the musical. Grab your tickets while you still can!

Liev Schreiber & 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' Broadway Co-Stars Meet the Press!

Liev Schreiber is dapper while attending the cast photo call for his upcoming Broadway production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses held at The New 42nd Street Studios on Tuesday (September 13) in New York City.

The 48-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Janet McTeer, Raffi Barsoumian, Katrina Cunningham, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen, Josh Salt, David Patterson, Ora Jones, Joy Franz, Mary Beth Peil and Elena Kampouris, as well as director Josie Rourke and producer Arielle Tepper Madover.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses is described as follows: “Former lovers, La Marquise de Merteuil (Janet) and Le Vicomte de Valmont (Liev) compete in games of seduction and revenge…Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the convent-educated Cecile de Volanges before her wedding night but Valmont has other designs. His target is the peerlessly virtuous and happily married Madame de Tourvel.”

The production is scheduled to run October 8-January 22, 2017, with opening night set for October 30, at Broadway’s Booth Theatre!

Cynthia Erivo & Joshua Henry Perform 'Last Five Years' Live to Help End Gun Violence

Cynthia Erivo belts out a song while performing in the special The Last Five Years benefit concert on Monday (September 12) at The Town Hall in New York City.

The Tony-winning actress was joined by Tony nominee Joshua Henry to perform the Jason Robert Brown musical for one night only to benefit the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

The goal of the organization is to cut the amount of deaths from gun violence in half by 2025 and the evening raised approximately $200,000 for the important cause.

Cynthia performed the show on her night off from The Color Purple while Joshua took a break from rehearsals for the Chicago production of Hamilton. He had a 6am flight back to the mid-west the next morning!

Kourtney Kardashian Takes Her Kids & North West To See 'Cats' on Broadway!

Kourtney Kardashian is all smiles while meeting the cast of Cats on Sunday (September 11) backstage at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York City.

The 37-year-old reality star took her kids Penelope and Mason, as well as her sister Kim‘s daughter North West to see the Broadway musical and they greeted star Leona Lewis backstage after the performance.

“I just saw CATS and got chills listening to @leonalewis and her beautiful voice,” Kourtney tweeted. “She is everything 😻”

Broadway's 'Jersey Boys' Will Close, Mark Ballas Joins Cast

Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys is set to close on Broadway in January 2017 following an eleven year run and Mark Ballas will join the cast as the final Frankie Valli!

The show will have played 4,642 performances on the Great White Way when it closes and it currently is the 12th longest-running show on Broadway.

Mark will join the show on October 18 and the musical will close on January 15.

Jersey Boys was turned into a movie starring its original Tony-winning actor John Lloyd Young and it follows the story of the band Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

The musical has grossed $540 million to date and has been seen by just under five million people.

Kristin Chenoweth Will Retun to Broadway for Special Concert

Kristin Chenoweth has big news – she is returning to Broadway in November for twelve performances of a special concert, My Love Letter to Broadway.

The Tony-winning actress will be performing a handpicked selection of musical theater favorites, including songs from her upcoming album The Art of Elegance.

Kristin‘s special concert run on Broadway will start on November 2 at New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and wrap up on November 13. Tickets go on sale this week!
