Brock Turner's Victim Comes Forward, Reveals Her Identity

The woman sexually assaulted by Stanford swimmer Brock Turner is now revealing her identity.

Chanel Miller, who was unconscious when Brock assaulted her outside of an on-campus fraternity party in 2015, is coming forward in a new memoir.

Back in 2018, she became widely known for her empowering statement that was anonymously read at Brock‘s sentencing.

Brock was found guilty of three felonies but only served three months in jail.

In a clip from an upcoming 60 Minutes interview, Chanel reads her statement, this time with the world knowing her name.

Chanel‘s book, Know My Name, is scheduled for release on September 24th.

Stanford Rapist Brock Turner Released from Jail After 3 Months

Brock Turner leaves the Santa Clara County Jail after serving for just three months on Friday morning (September 2) in California.

The 21-year-old convicted rapist and former Stanford swimmer left the jail alone and kept quiet as he made his way through a sea of reporters to get in a white SUV.

Brock‘s case received national attention after his victim’s emotional statement went viral and he was given what was considered to be an extremely light sentence.

Following his release from jail, Brock will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and complete a three-year probation during which he will submit to random drug and alcohol tests. He will also complete a sex offender management program.
