Bryan Singer is being sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a boy who was just 17-years-old at the time, but the X-Men director has denied the allegations.

Cesar Sanchez-Guzman says he attended a party on a yacht in 2003 and Singer offered to give him a tour of the boat, but when they got into one of the rooms the director allegedly forced him to the floor and began assaulting him.

Guzman claims that Singer forced him to perform oral sex on him and that the director then forcibly performed it on Guzman. He also says that Singer “forcibly anally penetrated him, all while ignoring Guzman‘s pleas,” according to TMZ.

Jeff Herman, the same attorney who represented Michael Egan in his suit against Singer a couple years ago, filed the lawsuit. Guzman is suing for “emotional distress, mental anguish, and physical and mental pain.”

After Bryan Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody, the upcoming Queen biopic, a new director was put in his place.

Eddie the Eagle director Dexter Fletcher will now take the helm after Bryan was fired due to unexplained absences on the set. Bryan insists he was tending to the needs of an ill parent, which the studio would not accomodate.

Production on the movie is expected to resume next week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film’s leading star Rami Malek and Bryan reportedly clashed on set, but are said to have resolved their differences.

Bryan Singer has released a statement after being fired from the upcoming Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, with only three weeks left of shooting.

The 52-year-old director claims that Fox did not allow him to take time off to deal with “pressing health matters” concerning one of his parents.

“Unfortunately, the studio was unwilling to accommodate me and terminated my services. This was not my decision and it was beyond my control,” Bryan said in a statement.

He also fought back against rumors his departure was related to star Rami Malek.

Bryan added, “Rumors that my unexpected departure from the film was sparked by a dispute I had with Rami Malek are not true. While, at times, we did have creative differences on set, Rami and I successfully put those differences behind us and continued to work on the film together until just prior to Thanksgiving.”

Bryan Singer has reportedly been fired from his directing job on the upcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

The 52-year-old director reportedly clashed with lead actor Rami Malek on set throughout filming and then he never returned to set after Thanksgiving break, which led to production being shut down on December 1.

The studio behind the movie, Fox, said at the time that production was suspended due to Singer‘s “unexpected unavailability.”

In a new statement, the studio said, “Bryan Singer is no longer the director of Bohemian Rhapsody.”

THR reports that Rami complained to the studio about Singer‘s “unreliability and unprofessionalism.” Cinematographer Thomas Newton Sigel stepped in to direct on some of the days that Singer was absent for and now a new director is expected to be named in the next few days.

Production has been halted on the upcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody due director and producer Bryan Singer‘s absence.

The movie, which stars Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, has been filming in England up until very recently.

“Twentieth Century Fox Film has temporarily halted production on Bohemian Rhapsody due to the unexpected unavailability of Bryan Singer,” the studio said in a statement.

A representative for Bryan told the BBC that the halt was due to “a personal health matter concerning Bryan and his family.”
