Synopsis: Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, Skeeter (Stone) is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives — and a small Mississippi town — upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Along the way, unlikely friendships are forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before everyone in town has a thing or two to say themselves when they become unwittingly — and unwillingly — caught up in the changing times.

The Help also stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Academy Award nominee Viola Davis.

Bryce Dallas Howard leaves an appointment on Friday (June 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 30-year-old actress, who’s expecting her second child with husband Seth Gabel, covered her growing baby bump in a Madewell blue maxi dress and black blazer.

Bryce recently admitted to MTV News that she loves reading online gossip sites.

“Terrible, terrible. I mean, that’s really not good stuff,” she said at MTV’s Sneak Peek Week for her movie The Help.

“And I have it kind of under control, but that fact that I have to have it under control – like, I have rules for myself – means it’s an addiction,” she added. “I can only click on one thing per day.”

Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel hit the press room backstage at at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards held at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (June 5) in Universal City, Calif.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse co-stars picked up the award for Best Fight during the ceremony, which they shared with Robert Pattinson.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt gets his head shaved by Seth Rogen in the trailer for their upcoming movie 50/50, in theaters September 30.

50/50 is an original story about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Joseph and Seth star as best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis.

The film draws its emotional core from director Will Reiser‘s own battle with cancer.

“Ideally we wanted to make a film that would be as funny, sad, and hopefully as honest as the experience we went through. As soon as the script was completed, it quickly became a passion project for all of us. It helped us come to terms with Will‘s struggle as well as our own experiences,” Seth said.

50/50 also stars Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Bryce Dallas Howard is expanding her family!

The 30-year-old actress is pregnant with her second child, her rep told Us Weekly.

Bryce and her husband, actor Seth Gabel, are already parents to 3-year-old son Theo.

Last year, Bryce opened up about her struggle with postpartum depression on Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop blog.

“Do I wish I had never endured postpartum depression? Absolutely. I … feel deep gratitude for those who stood by me, for the lesson that we must never be afraid to ask for help,” she wrote.

Mia Wasikowska arrives at the premiere of her new film, Restless, during the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival held at the Palais Des Festivals on Thursday (May 12) in Cannes, France.

The 21-year-old Aussie actress, in a Roland Mouret dress and Jimmy Choo heels, was joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, who co-produced the Gus Van Sant-directed drama with her father, Ron Howard.

Bryce, 29, hit the red carpet wearing a Reem Acra gown.

Uma Thurman hits the red carpet at the premiere of her new film, Ceremony, on Tuesday (March 22) at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.

The 40-year-old actress met up with co-star Michael Angarano at the event, which Bryce Dallas Howard (in Reem Acra) also attended. At the after party held at Hemingway’s, guests sipped on Leblon Cachaça cocktails.

Uma recently chatted about her other movie, Bel Ami, and had nothing but nice things to say about co-star Robert Pattinson.

“[He] is, I think, going to be a really serious actor. I think he’s incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously is very handsome. [He] is a very nice person and he’s sensitive,” she told MTV News.
