Obliterated has been canceled after only 1 season at Netflix, Deadline reports.
Fans are a bit confused by the move, as the show did spend six week on the streamer’s worldwide top 10 most-watched list at the time of its release in late 2023.

Nick Zano and Shelley Hennig have just one mission – save Las Vegas, in the new trailer for Netflix‘s Obliterated.
The two stars do just that, but there’s a twist in the movie that they didn’t see coming.
Here’s the full summary: An elite special forces team thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas, but after their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
Nick and Shelley star with C. Thomas Howell, Kimi Rutledge, Paola Lázaro, Terrence Terrell, Alyson Gorske, Eugene Kim, Carl Lumbly, David Costabile, Lindsey Kraft, Costa Ronin, Tobias Jelinek, and Minnie Mills.

The actors were joined by the show’s writer/executive producer Steven Moffat at the event, where Doctor Who was awarded for an Institutional Peabody “for evolving with technology and the times like nothing else in the known television universe.”
Ben McKenzie, Regina King, Shawn Hatosy, and C. Thomas Howell were in attendance to support their show Southland, which was honored for “focusing on characters whose personalities have become more nuanced by the season, it’s a gritty, weekly ride-along, as convincing as cop drama gets.”
