Kerry Washington has a few things to say.
The 39-year-old Scandal star took to Twitter this weekend to thank fans for their congrats regarding the birth of her son Caleb.
She also spoke out about the murder of Deborah Danner, who was reportedly shot and killed by a uniformed NYPD sergeant.
“It’s a quiet Saturday afternoon. So, a few things I wanna get off my chest,” Kerry wrote. “I saw all your very kind & thoughtful congratulatory tweets. So yeah 😍 we thank you. Xo.”
She added, “Also the loss of #DeborahDanner has rattled my core. Not only becuz of painful truth that we must continue to affirm that #BlackLivesMatter”
