'Stranger Things' Cast Will Get Big Salary Bumps for Season 5, Filming Expected to Begin Soon

Stranger Things season four aired between May and July 2022, but fans will be waiting a while for more episodes as filming hasn’t even started on the fifth and final season.

Back in January 2023, it was announced the the cast would be getting big pay bumps for the next season and that the episodes would begin production in May 2023.

Because of the writers strike and now the actors strike, production never began and it’s unclear when it will. Filming is expected to begin soon though!

The show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers, have said that they will not be introducing major new characters in the final season and they will focus on wrapping the storylines of the existing characters.

So, what will each actor be earning for the final season?

Rachel Zegler Joins Jennifer Lawrence & More at Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Window Unveiling With Dior

Rachel Zegler and Jennifer Lawrence stepped out for the Saks Fifth Avenue holiday window display lighting on Monday (November 20) in New York City.

The Hunger Games leading ladies joined several other celebs joined Dior for this year’s display, which is called Dior’s Carousel of Dreams, as the fashion brand collaborated with the store on the 2023 holiday window display.

If you missed it, Jennifer spoke at the event, and while making a speech ahead of announcing the lighting, she had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Watch her reaction here!

Also in attendance at the event were Tracee Ellis Ross, Ashley Park, Nina Dobrev, Maya Hawke, Alexandra Daddario, Caleb McLaughlin, Leyna Bloom, Eli Brown, and Lola Tung, as well as Rachel‘s boyfriend Josh Andrés Rivera, who is not pictured here.

Rachel‘s new The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes prequel debuted in theater just a few days before, and it was the No 1 film at the box office!

Pharrell Williams' Tiny Sunglasses Take Center Stage at Dior's Menswear Show During Paris Fashion Week

Pharrell Williams made a chic statement with a pair of miniature sunglasses at the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Friday (June 23) in Paris, France.

The legendary hitmaker and producer was spotted arriving at the show wearing head-to-toe denim. The centerpiece of his look was a pair of sunglasses that barely covered his eyes.

He was one of so many stars on the guestlist, which also included the likes of Demi Moore and Gwendoline Christie.

'Stranger Things' Season 5 Delayed Over Writer's Strike, Duffer Brothers Provide Update

Matt and Ross Duffer (aka the Duffer Brothers) have confirmed the status of season five of Stranger Things.

If you don’t know, last week, the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) announced that Hollywood writers would go on strike.

Thousands of unionized writers have been arguing for fair wages in the streaming era. In the last few weeks, negotiations stalled and broke down, and the board of directors for the WGA voted unanimously to call for a walkout.

The strike began on early Tuesday (May 2), effectively bringing TV production to a halt and marking the first walkout in more than 15 years.

Fans have been very worried about the status of Stranger Things season 5. We now have an update.
