Natasha Bure is sticking up for her mom, Candace Cameron Bure.

In a recent interview, the 46-year-old Full House actress talked about leaving Hallmark Channel and forming a new partnership with GAC Family, where she says there will be no movies featuring same-sex couples.

“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” Candace said in response to being asked about featuring LGBTQ+ couples in the channel’s Christmas movies.

Following her comments, Candace has faced a lot of backlash, with one star calling her a “bigot.”

Now, Candace‘s daughter Natasha, 24, is speaking out to defend her mom.

GLAAD has released a statement in response to the comments that Candace Cameron Bure made about LGBTQ couples not having a place in GAC Family movies.

Candace recently left the Hallmark Channel and signed a new deal with the channel GAC Family, where she will be serving as Chief Creative Officer.

While opening up about the network’s upcoming slate of Christmas movies, she confirmed there will be not same-sex couples featured in the movies. “I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” Candace she told WSJ. Magazine.

Several stars have already spoken out to slam her comments and her Full House co-star Jodie Sweetin is even letting her voice be heard.

Now, the leading LGBTQ+ organization GLAAD has released a statement.

Jodie Sweetin is reacting to the controversial comments made by her Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure.

In a new interview, Candace talked about leaving Hallmark Channel and forming a new partnership with GAC Family, where she says there will be no movies featuring same-sex couples.

Hilarie Burton is calling out Candace Cameron Bure over the comments she made about GAC Family and how the new network has no plans to feature same-sex couples in their movies.

The former Full House actress just gave an interview about her decision to leave the Hallmark Channel family and launch her new partnership with GAC, a network started by former Hallmark exec Bill Abbott.

“My heart wants to tell stories that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them. I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment,” she told WSJ. Magazine, before adding that Hallmark “basically is a completely different network than when I started because of the change of leadership.”

Candace also made comments about same-sex couples that are not sitting well with a lot of people, including Hilarie.

Candace Cameron Bure is revealing the true reasons for her departure from Hallmark Channel.

Previously, the 46-year-old actress said that “the truth” behind her departure was that she was “under contract with Hallmark for a very, very long time. And those have been absolutely wonderful. It just so happened that my contract was expiring when Great American Family started up. So we did not start having those discussions until we were well into negotiations with Hallmark Channel for renewing.”

However, in a new interview with WSJ magazine, Candace is explaining why she left further.

Hallmark Channel premiered their second Garland, Alaska based movie tonight called A Cozy Christmas Inn.

In the movie, it’s revealed that main character Erika (Jodie Sweetin) is actually Andy’s (David O’Donnell) ex from Seattle.

Many Hallmark fans will recognize David from Christmas Under Wraps, which debuted in 2014, and also starred Candace Cameron Bure as Lauren.

In A Cozy Christmas Inn, it was revealed what happened with Andy and Lauren, and why Lauren isn’t around anymore in Garland.
