Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino pose together at the Faster Los Angeles Premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (November 22) in Hollywood.

The 38-year-old actor stars as an ex-con who sets out to avenge his brother’s death after they were double-crossed during a heist several years ago. During his campaign, however, he’s tracked by a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thorton) and an egocentric hit man.

Dwayne will also be starring in the upcoming film Fast Five alongside Vin Diesel, which will be released next year.

Nicole Kidman goes green in Prada at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Installation Luncheon held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Wednesday (July 28) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 43-year-old actress, who stepped out in nude Louboutin shoes, helped present the newly elected HFPA officers and Board members. She also helped announce this year’s financial grants being awarded to film schools and non-profit organizations. Over $1.5 million was given out at this year’s event!

Vanessa Hudgens heats up the Sucker Punch red carpet in a Black Halo dress with sexy cut-outs at Comic-Con 2010 on Saturday (July 24) in San Diego, Calif.

After holding up a special JustJared.com coaster, the 21-year-old actress shared about her movie’s character. Vanessa told JJ exclusively, “I play Blondie, a patient in a mental institute. She’s kinda a follower and is just trying to get by. She’s a bit vulnerable and the one that’s a bit more timid to the whole plan of escape.”

As for the action scenes she shot, Vanessa added, “It was so much fun. It’s almost like therapy — to blow off some steam I go and shoot my saw. It’s exhilarating…it’s such an adrenaline rush. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done.”

Malin Akerman premieres her new comic-book flick, Watchmen, at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (March 2) in Hollywood.

The 30-year-old former model wore a design from former Project Runway contestant Rami Kashou. She finished off her look with Jimmy Choo “Night” satin sandals and Loree Rodkin jewels.

Malin talked about her costume as Silk Spectre in Watchmen. “It’s literally like pulling an elastic band over your whole body,” Akerman told Access Hollywood. “Throw a corset on top of that and some high heel shoes and you’re ready to fight, right?” she laughed. “I mean, it definitely looks phenomenal and fierce, but it’s not… That love scene was really interesting, because he couldn’t actually touch me. Because you had all these LED lights that are scratchy, they’d scrape you.”
