The third season of Netflix’s hit comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is coming soon, and there’s a special cameo coming along with it!

At the special screening of the show as part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival held last week, co-creator Tina Fey revealed that her former SNL castmate Maya Rudolph is set to guest-star this season in a role that was specifically written for her.

“Later this season, there’s a story that is mostly Tituss [Tituss Burgess] alone on a rowboat with Maya Rudolph,” Tina expressed (via EW). “Those two, I thought, really kind of gave each other the giggles.”

“She would just not let up,” Tituss added. “Even after we’d already yelled cut, this diva was still going.

Ellie Kemper and the cast of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are celebrating their third season!

The 36-year-old actress attended a screening of the show as part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday (April 28) at BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City.

Ellie was joined by her co-stars Jane Krakowski, Titus Burgess and Carol Kane as well as show creator Tina Fey.

Season three of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is set to premiere on Netflix on May 19.

There are 51 female directors featured in this year’s festival, the highest number of women filmmakers in the festival’s history!

“Women’s voices in storytelling are more important now than ever. Our voices as women need to be heard loud and clear. Without a woman’s voice, there would be no humanity in the world. A man starts in our womb, in our bodies, they come from us,” the festival’s co-founder Jane Rosenthal said in a statement.

Jessica Lange, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Susan Sarandon arrive in style at the Feud: Bette and Joan event on Tuesday (April 18) at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The co-stars were joined at the event by co-stars Alison Wright, Alfred Molina, and Jackie Hoffman along with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Carol Kane.

Olivia de Havilland – the only living star who is portrayed in the hit FX show – recently shared that she has no plans on watching the show about the rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. On Feud, Catherine plays Olivia.

“Having not seen the show, I cannot make a valid comment about it,” Olivia told The Hollywood Reporter. “However, in principle, I am opposed to any representation of personages who are no longer alive to judge the accuracy of any incident depicted as involving themselves.”

The opening promoted a $16 million capital campaign that will include $6 million for the center and $10 million for the foundation’s endowment.
