“You know, I know it’s going to be hard for them because they’ve got their grandfather, Kirk [Douglas], they’ve got me, they have Michael,” Catherine told Jimmy. “But they so inherently love it and they’re good! They go to summer camp every year – they do like three musicals and straight plays – and they love it.”

“I’ve had a wonderful life in this business, so if they want to do it, they know the hardships and the percentages of who makes it and who doesn’t,” Catherine added. “I just think that they’ve got the talent and I know that they have the drive.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones Wants Women To Support & Hold Each Other Up!

Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ new series Feud may revolve around the infamous rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, but she certainty doesn’t posses the same perspective as the legendary Oscar winners.

“I think their feud was out of fear and fear of losing what they had,” the 47-year-old actress expressed while attending the Feud: Tastemaker Dinner held at The Monkey Bar on Monday (February 13) in New York City (via Vogue).

“Today I feel like women should really hold onto one another and hold each other up, not push each other down. I’m a big fan of ‘there’s room for everybody’,” Catherine added. “There’s room and time and space and moments in life of ups and downs, but sometimes your moment is going to be much higher than mine. As women, I think we have to applaud it and support it and hold each other up.”

Also in attendance at the special dinner was Catherine‘s co-stars Susan Sarandon, Jessica Lange, Alison Wright, Kiernan Shipka, show creator Ryan Murphy, Martha Stewart, and directors Paul Feig and Damien Chazelle, who came out to show their support.

FYI: Catherine is wearing a Pamella Roland cocktail dress.

Feud's Jessica Lange & Susan Sarandon Discuss How Hollywood Treats Older Actresses

Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are starring in the upcoming FX series Feud and they have opened up about the opportunities being given to older actresses and how not much has changed over the years.

The ladies were joined by co-stars Catherine Zeta Jones, Kiernan Shipka, and Alison Wright, along with series creator Ryan Murphy, at the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour on Thursday (January 12) at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

“I don’t think it’s changed that much really to tell you the truth,” Jessica said (via Mashable). “It’s not necessarily a question of age or looks. I think it is who is interested in these stories. If the powers that be don’t find there is anything valuable or interesting in a story about a woman of a certain age, those films aren’t going to get made.”

“The line has been pushed,” Susan added. “But aging actors still have the same problems. I can guarantee that.”
