Catherine Zeta-Jones has checked in to a mental health facility.

“After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II Disorder,” a rep for the actress told JustJared.com in a statement. “She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.”

Our thoughts go out to Catherine as she takes care of herself after a stressful year as her husband, Michael Douglas, successfully fought cancer.

Debra Messing and Angie Harmon hit the Michael Kors After Party on Wednesday (February 16) at Bemelmans Bar inside NYC’s Carlyle Hotel.

Also attending the bash: Emma Roberts, models Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova, Elle‘s Joe Zee, and celeb stylist Brad Goreski.

Earlier in the day, Debra and Emma joined Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, along with Catherine Zeta Jones and husband Michael Douglas, at the designer’s Fall 2011 show during New York Fashion Week.

Debra recently signed on for the NBC pilot Smash opposite Katharine McPhee!

Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones hold tight onto each other on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Sitting next to them: The couple’s two kids, Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7.

The family then toured the Hogwarts Castle inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, sampled Butterbeer, and even got fitted for wands at Ollivanders!

Earlier this week, Michael and Catherine took the kids to Disney’s Epcot theme park.

Michael Douglas and his beautiful wife Catherine Zeta-Jones take their kids — Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7 — to visit the Epcot theme park Christmas tree on Wednesday morning (November 24) in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The couple, who rubbed shoulders with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Nov. 18.

Michael recently finished his treatment for throat cancer, a grueling eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. So brave!

Earlier, the cast rang the opening bell at Nasdaq’s MarketSite.

The 40-year-old actress gave a live performance of “Send in the Clowns” from Stephen Sondheim‘s musical A Little Night Music and also won Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in ALNM.

During her acceptance speech. Catherine thanked her husband, Michael Douglas – whom she called “a movie star, and I get to sleep with him every night.”
