Chad Murray heads back to his car after visiting the Byron & Tracey Salon on Friday (September 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 30-year-old actor is reprising his role as Lucas Scott for One Tree Hill‘s final season.

Shantel VanSanten, who plays Quinn on The CW drama, recently shared that she’s excited for Chad to return.

“I actually get to work with him. I think it’ll be cool because then I’ll get to say I’ve worked with almost everybody, with Tyler [Hilton] coming back and a bunch of other people,” she told HollywoodLife.

The 30-year-old actor will reprise his role as Lucas Scott during the final season of the CW show.

Lucas will return to Tree Hill after Haley (played by Bethany Joy Galeotti) reaches out to him for help.

“The secret’s out,” Chad tweeted earlier in the day. “I’m excited 2 say that ‘Luke’ will b reuniting with the amazing OTH cast, Producers & Crew 4 an ep! This is 4 u great fans.”

The festival spanned the course of three days, ending this past Saturday, where live concerts and events were ongoing on the Sunset Strip! Headlining acts included the Mötley Crüe, Bush, Public Enemy, and Matt & Kim.

FYI: Chris next stars in the early fall thriller Shark Night 3D, out September 2. He also stars alongside Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man, out summer 2012.

Chad Murray and his fiancee, Kenzie Dalton, go out for a cup of coffee and lunch on Monday (July 11) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old One Tree Hill alum cooled off with an iced drink as he and Kenzie enjoyed their Starbucks drinks outside on the coffee shop’s patio.

Late last month, Chad and Kenziewent out bowling together at Pinz in Studio City, Calif.

Chad also attended the Disney sponsored A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic last month, which benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Earlier in the month, Chad was photographed stepping out for the A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic. The star studded event helped raise money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

The 29-year-old actor showed support for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation at the event, which was sponsored by Disney.

Guests played old fashioned carnival games, munched on a banquet of food and rubbed shoulders with stars at the annual picnic.

Since its inception in 1990, A Time for Heroes has raised more than $32 million for a very good cause.

Here’s what the 29-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On who he’d love to work with: “Right now my top three directors, I love Darren Aronofsky, Martin Scorsese, [and] Terry Gilliam. I love The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. It’s what film should be about. It’s true imagination where you go anywhere. It was just so beautiful. Definitely one of my top 10 films.”

On his six-year stint on One Tree Hill: “I’m grateful to have had it. I’m fortunate to have had it. I learned so, so very much from so many people. I was able to kind of grow up and become the man I’m becoming today. I just feel very fortunate to have been in that position, to be in Wilmington, North Carolina, to be in place that’s kind of smaller than Los Angeles. It’s just different. I enjoyed my experience there.”

On his favorite TV shows: “I would say the one show I haven’t missed an episode of in its three seasons is Fringe. Love Fringe. I love the cast. It’s fantastic. Other than that, I’m kind of a History Channel buff. I just watched this great prohibition special. It was like two hours long … such a fantastic era and so much history there.”
