The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is announcing the 2020 nominees!

The prestigious museum revealed the names of sixteen contenders, including nine first-time nominees, on Tuesday (October 15).

The first-time nominees include Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G., Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy, Soundgarden, T. Rex and The Doobie Brothers.

Previously nominated acts include Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Judas Priest, Kraftwerk, Todd Rundgren and MC5.

For consideration, acts must have released their first commercial work at least 25 years ago.

Fans can vote at rockhall.com or at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland now through January 10, 2020.

The 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on May 2 at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium, with nominees being announced in January.

Jennifer Aniston, Mariah Carey and Brie Larson received a big honor at Variety’s 2019 Power of Women Luncheon!

The trio hit the carpet at the event on Friday afternoon (October 11) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Jennifer, Mariah and Brie, along with Awkwafina, Chaka Khan and Dana Walden, all were recognized for their work with various charities.

Jennifer was honored for her work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while Mariah was noted for Fresh Air Fund’s Camp Mariah and Brie, the Equal Justice Initiative. Meanwhile, Awkwafina supported Building Beats, Chaka was recognized for supporting Little Kids Rock and Dana, the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Also in attendance were presenters Natalie Portman, Niecy Nash and Natasha Lyonne as well as guests Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe and Ali Wong.

Chaka Khan just revealed she has a brand new song coming out with none other than Ariana Grande!

The 66-year-old legendary singer confirmed the new song during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live! this week.

“She and I are doing a song together,” Chaka shared on the show, adding that it’s for a movie.

The track might be for Charlie’s Angels, since Ariana is one of the executive producers for the soundtrack.

“[This] has been the coolest f***ing thing in the world,” Ariana shared on her Instagram. “Beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for everyone to hear the music and see this phenomenal film. november.”

Ciara, Billy Porter and Laverne Cox strike a pose on the rainbow carpet while attending the WorldPride NYC 2019 Opening Ceremony held at Barclays Center on Wednesday (June 26) in New York City.

The 78-year-old “Walk on By” singer and the 65-year-old “I Feel For You” crooner attended the event held on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Dionne, wearing a white dress with a tan coat, was joined by son Damon Elliott.

Chaka donned a black and gold dress with thigh-high black boots.
