Tom Hardy poses with fans after attending the New York Film Critics Series screening of his new movie Locke on Wednesday evening (April 23) at the AMC Empire 25 in New York City.

The 36-year-old actor has been in a long-term relationship with Charlotte Riley since 2009 and in an interview at the red carpet screening of the film the night before, he referred to her as his wife!

“Well my wife is an actor as well so she sort of gets it,” Tom told Us Weekly about how his family supports it when he throws himself into a role. “Apart from that, I’m a pain in the ass really. You know what I mean? Like any other boyfriend.”

The 36-year-old English actor was seen posing for pics and signing autographs for fans, who had waited near the red carpet.

Tom Hardy and his fiancee Charlotte Riley sandwich in cancer patient Kayleigh Duff during a surprise lunch date on Monday (May 27) in London, England.

The 35-year-old actor spent the day with Kayleigh, who has a form of terminal liver cancer, after Charlotte‘s sister saw her on a television show saying how much she loved Tom.

“I nearly died when I saw him. I was shaking – I just thought we were having a day out in London,” Kayleigh told the Canterbury Times. “Tom‘s fiancee Charlotte and [my friend] Katie arranged it all without me knowing and he was so lovely and down to earth. We had lunch and tea and scones and he bought me a diamond necklace.”

Tom Hardy attends the world premiere of the new action film Jack Reacher on Monday (December 10) at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England.

The 35-year-old actor was joined at the event by his fiancee Charlotte Riley.
