Check out Cher Lloyd in her new music video for “Want U Back.”

The 18-year-old British pop star, who appeared on U.K.’s version of The X Factor in 2010, re-shot the video and released the song as her first official U.S. single.

The new video shows Cher confronting her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend in a diner, while performing the track on the restaurant’s counter.

The song was originally released in January as the third single from her Sticks + Stones album, featuring guest vocals from X Factor USA contestant Astro.

Cher Lloyd teams up with recent X Factor contestant Astro in her new video for “Want U Back.”

The 18-year-old British pop star, who appeared on U.K.’s version of The X Factor in 2010, reflects on her ex boyfriend, who’s already moved on to another girl.

“Boy you can say anything you wanna. I don’t give a sh, no one else can have you. I want you back, I want you back,” Cher sings on the track, which is the third single from her Sticks + Stones album.

The 18-year-old singer, who is gearing up for the debut of her new album, will officially release the song on November 7.

Cher recently spoke out against cyber bullying. “It disgusts me that online bullying – nobody really cares about it,” she told BBC Newsbeat (via MTV).

“I kind of think it’s the government. It’s one thing writing to me. I’m getting stronger with this stuff, I can take it on the chin but there are girls out there and boys out there that can’t take that,” she added.

The 17-year-old X Factor UK finalist will release her debut, self-titled album on August 22.

Cher, who was mentored on The X Factor by Cheryl Cole, recently said that they no longer keep in touch with each other.

“I didn’t really get dumped, did I? I’m working, so is she. She’s busy as well. I don’t know what the big deal is with that. She isn’t my mum, she isn’t my auntie or my sister. I don’t think it’s a big deal her staying in touch with me. That was a TV show. This is my time now,” Cher told BBC’s Newsbeat.

Cher Lloyd, the finalist from UK’s singing competition The X Factor, is rumored to have signed with Jay-Z‘s record label Roc Nation.

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am performed with Cher on the show’s finals, and said he would sign her to his label. But no dice!

“Even though Cher didn’t do terrifically well in the X Factor finals, there’s been a hell of a lot of interest in her,” a source tells UK’s The Sun. “Will.i.am‘s backing only intensified the battle to get her signature. After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.”
