Jennifer Hudson and Neil Patrick Harris are ready for a night of music at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts Opening Celebration on Saturday night (March 10) in Las Vegas.

The 38-year-old actor hosted the event, while Jennifer, in a Ralph & Russo couture dress and H Stern jewels, took the stage as the closing act of the evening, singing “Take Care of This House”.

Also hitting up the celebration were Cheyenne Jackson, who sang a duet on stage with Broadway’s Laura Osnes, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter star Benjamin Walker, and recent Glee guest star Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Rose McGowan, Ke$ha, Cyndi Lauper, Cheyenne Jackson, Estelle, and Skylar Grey are banding together to launch a new HIV/AIDS awareness campaign titled “Come Together”.

The campaign is a partnership between amfAR and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, and features a newly interpreted double AIDS ribbon designed by Kenneth Cole.

The $5 double ribbon, which available will be through December 3, will be sold at Kenneth Cole retail and outlet stores nationwide with 100% of net profits being donated to AWEARNESS, the Kenneth Cole Foundation.

Cheyenne Jackson and his longtime partner Monte Lapka tied the knot!

The 36-year-old 30 Rock and Glee actor married his physicist beau on Saturday (September 3) on the beach, where both men wore white.

“It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora‘s no longer a bastar*. Married the best man I’ve ever known” Cheyenne tweeted along with a picture of the happy couple! Zora, the family dog, was also in attendance.

Cheyenne‘s rep also confirmed the happy news to JustJared.com.

Later this month, Cheyenne will “trade husbands” and play opposite Matt Bomer in an upcoming reading of Dustin Lance Black’s play 8!

Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will be playing husbands in the upcoming reading of Dustin Lance Black‘s play, 8.

The 33-year-old White Collar actor will play Jeffrey Zarillo, the real life husband of Paul Katami, who will be played by Cheyenne (30 Rock).

Zarillo and Katami were central litigants in the Prop 8 trial.

John Lithgow and Bradley Whitford have also joined the cast, which includes the previously announced Morgan Freeman, Anthony Edwards, Christine Lahti, and Marisa Tomei.

The reading is set for September 19 at NYC’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre.

On going to City Hall and filing with longtime partner Monte Lapka as domestic partners: “We wanted to get as married as we could. think we were filling in some forms for wills or insurance, and I just thought, Let’s just make this as legal as we can. It was with a bunch of Russian mail order brides, literally. And it was hilarious and it was romantic, just he and me, our little secret.”

Designer Kenneth Cole, on Cheyenne: “He’s just so low-key and undemanding and unpretentious with his approach and his delivery — there are no boundaries, no rules, which is unique in that business.”

Cheyenne Jackson has joined the cast of Glee!

The 35-year-old actor, who’s also lined up gigs on Curb Your Enthusiasm and 30 Rock, will play the new coach for Vocal Adrenaline, according to EW.

TV Guide adds that Patrick Gallagher will not continue his role as football coach Ken Tanaka next season. He’ll be replaced by McKinley High’s new female football coach, Shannon Beiste (played by Dot Jones).

Yesterday, it was announced that Chord Overstreet will be joining the cast for the second season of Glee.
