Chicago Fire's Monica Raymund Confirms Exit From Show

Original Chicago Fire cast member Monica Raymund has confirmed she’s leaving the show amid reports that her contract had expired after season six.

“It has been an honor to play Dawson on Chicago Fire and one of the most meaningful experiences of my life,” Monica wrote in her note to fans on Twitter. “I am so thankful for the journey and especially to all of you for watching, but I have made the decision that it’s time for me to move on to the next chapter in life.”

“I’ll always be proud to have played a fierce paramedic with such an incredible cast and crew,” Monica continued. “On to the next! See you on the ice.”

NBC Renews 'Chicago Fire, P.D. & Med,' Cancels 'Timeless'

NBC just renewed three of its four Chicago-based shows.

The network just announced that Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med will all get more seasons, while there’s still no decision on the newest one, Chicago Justice.

According to Deadline, Law & Order: SVU has still not been picked up yet, but that will likely happen once Mariska Hargitay closes her deal.

Meanwhile, the freshman series Timeless has been cancelled.

“Its true. NBC canceled #Timeless. We’re surprised & upset. Get you a longer response later. Odds are long, but trying to find another home,” co-creator Eric Kripke tweeted.

NBC has just announced a whole bunch of renewals for new seasons of some of our favorite shows!

Returning next year will be James Spader‘s The Blacklist for Season 3, Grimm for Season 5, Chicago Fire for Season 4, Sophia Bush‘s Chicago P.D. for Season 3, and Mariska Hargitay‘s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for Season 17, Deadline reports.

Missing from the NBC renewal list is The Mysteries of Laura, Constantine and Katherine Heigl‘s State of Affairs, but it is still early and these shows could also be renewed at a later date.

Taylor Kinney & Jesse Spencer: 'Chicago Fire' Studs!

The 32-year-old actor and Jesse, 34, were joined by co-stars David Eigenberg, Lauren German, Monica Raymund, Eamon Walker, Charlie Barnett, and Jose Minoso while filming scenes for their hit show along the Chicago River.

NBC Announces Fall 2013-14 Line-Up

NBC has released it’s official Fall 2013-14 television schedule!

The network moved it’s latest hit Revolution, starring Billy Burke, to Wednesday nights. Taylor Kinney‘s Chicago Fire is also moving to Tuesday nights, while Amy Poehler‘s Parks and Recreation will takeover Community‘s Thursday spot.

New sitom’s The Blacklist starring James Spader, Sean Saves the World starring Sean Hayes, and The Michael J. Fox Show will also air on Thursday nights.

The highly anticipated Dracula starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers will on Fridays as a lead-in to Grimm.
