Chris D’Elia is returning with a new video eight months after being accused of sexual misconduct.

The 40-year-old comedian posted a video on Friday (February 19) where he disputed any claims of predatory behavior or grooming and discussed his attitude around sex.

“I know it looks bad, and it doesn’t show the full scope of what happened,” Chris said in the video. “I stand by the fact that all my relationships have been consensual and legal, and that’s just it. That’s the truth.”

Chris then details his life-long “problem” with sex and describes being “flippant” about having sex with fans while in a relationship.

“Sex controlled my life,” he said. “It was my focus all the time. I had a problem, and I do have a problem. It was out of control, so I have a chance here to apologize to the people that got caught up in that sh-t, and the lies that I would tell my fiancee, my friends, and I’m sorry.”

Chris was accused of sexual harassment and grooming last summer when a Twitter user shared her experience with the comedian on social media. In September, new allegations surfaced that he had “exposed himself to them on separate occasions without their consent.”

Chris denied the allegations on both occasions. He was eventually dropped by his representation and multiple co-stars spoke out about the allegations.

Chris D’Elia is facing new accusations of sexual misconduct.

According to report done by CNN on Wednesday (September 2), three women alleged that the 40-year-old comedian “exposed himself to them on separate occasions without their consent.”

A female hotel manager, who remained anonymous, recalled how Chris allegedly appeared naked at his hotel room door after calling her and asking for help.

“When I knocked on the door, he opened the door and he was completely naked,” she claimed. “I was surprised, and I was annoyed that I just came all the way up just so he could expose himself to me.”

Another woman, Laura Vitarelli, claimed she and a friend were groped by Chris after meeting him at a comedy show in New York back in 2015 when she was only 15. She said that Chris had invited the girls back to his hotel room for a party, but claimed, “There was no sign of a party at all… He said he was going to make us drinks and her and I were both a little nervous just because it really didn’t look like he was about to throw a party. There was nobody else there.”

When they sat down on the couch, Chris allegedly “put one of each of his hands down our backsides and started groping us.”

When they went to leave, he protested, and allegedly “pulled out his penis and it was fully erect.”

“It was very uncomfortable for the both of us, and we knew we had to get out of there so we left as fast as we could,” Laura said.

Similarly, a third woman, Megan Drust, claimed that Chris exposed himself when asking her to drive him home.

“Then he took down his zipper and asked me to touch him and I said, ‘What are you doing? No,’” Megan alleged. “And because I wouldn’t touch him, he started to masturbate. I couldn’t believe it.”

After the new allegations were reported, Chris‘ lawyer released a statement to E! News, saying, “D’Elia denies these allegations and emphatically states that he has never engaged in any sexual conduct with any woman without her consent.”

Back in June, Chris was accused of sexual harassment and grooming underage girls. At the time, he responded to the allegations, saying, “I know I have said and done things that might have offended people during my career, but I have never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point.”

Last month, it was announced that this comedian will be replacing Chris in Zack Snyder‘s Army of the Dead movie.

Tig Notaro will be replacing Chris D’Elia in the upcoming movie, Army of the Dead.

The Hollywood Reporter shared the news about the recasting, and explains that Tig will be incorporated into the movie using CG technology.

On top of some re-shoots on the movie to accommodate Tig taking over the role, she will also be shooting scenes opposite an acting partner and will use green screen to blend her in.

The film, from Zack Snyder, takes place after a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, centering on a group of mercenaries who take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Tig took over the role from Chris, after he was accused of sexual harassment and grooming of underage girls. Many of his appearances on television have been taken down and he was even dropped by his representation.

Penn Badgley is reacting to the allegations against his You co-star Chris D’Elia. Many women came forward on Twitter earlier this month with allegations of sexual harassment and underage grooming.

“It did affect me deeply. I was very troubled by it. I am very troubled by it. I don’t know Chris. I know that, if there’s anything we need to do in this age, it’s to believe women,” Penn said on the Los Angeles Times‘ podcast.

He also revealed that You producers contacted 17-year-old actress Jenna Ortega, who played opposite D’Elia‘s predatory character on the show.

“The first thing our producers did was reach out to Jenna, who played Ellie, the girl opposite Chris in those scenes, just to make sure she felt safe. We can feel safe and sound there,” Penn added.

“The idea that a show like ours would indirectly, unwittingly be a haven for people who are abusive is disturbing. It’s very disturbing,” Penn continued. “Does a show like ours help to create that culture? Well, I know that at least our show … thinks about things in a dismantling, deconstructive manner. I would hope that at least our show is not serving to uphold these kind of, like, bunk ways of being and these systems, right?”

Chris D’Elia has parted ways with his representation, CAA.

The news, via THR, comes after the Workaholics comedian was accused of sexual harassment and grooming of minors.

The allegations first came from Twitter user Simone Rossi, who says she was only 16 years old when Chris attempted to get photos of her and meet up with her.

“I know I have said and done things that might have offended people during my career, but I have never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point,” Chris shared in response to the allegations. “All of my relationships have been both legal and consensual and I have never met or exchanged any inappropriate photos with the people who have tweeted about me.”

Several Workaholics episodes were also pulled from syndication after the allegations surfaced. See which ones they are here…

Comedy Central, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video has removed an episode of Workaholics which features Chris D’Elia playing a child molester.

The networks pulled the episode after the 40-year-old comedian/actor was accused of sexually harassing underage girls on social media.

In the 2011 Workaholics season one episode titled “To Friend a Predator,” Chris plays a child molester who becomes friends with Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson’s characters. The trio attempt to expose Chris‘ character, but end up joining him at an exclusive party.

Despite this episode, all the other episodes of Workaholics are still available for streaming on the sites.

As of Sunday afternoon (June 21), all three of Chris‘ standup specials – Man on Fire, Incorrigible, and No Pain – are still available on Netflix.

Chris has since released a statement regarding the accusations, saying “all of my relationships have been both legal and consensual.”
