A cheerful Gwyneth Paltrow hops out of her Lincoln Navigator and put something in the trunk of her car in New York City on Thursday afternoon (April 22).

For her latest GOOP newsletter, the 37-year-old actress tapped acupuncturist and herbalist Adele Reising to share some of her thoughts on spring from a Chinese medical perspective and provides tips for those of us who are suffering from allergies.

Gwyneth Paltrow takes a walk around downtown New York City with her son Moses, 3, daughter Apple, 5, and mother Blythe Danner, 67, on Thursday afternoon (April 8).

The 37-year-old blonde beauty shared about children’s books in her latest GOOP newsletter.

She wrote, “Some of the best memories I have from childhood are of my mother lying in bed with me and reading me stories. I can remember way back when books like ‘Pat the Bunny’ and ‘Goodnight Moon’ were appropriate, so we’re talking decades. We had a few greatest hits, ‘Elouise’ and ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ being frontrunners. That time together was pretty indelible. I’m always looking for great books I may not know about to read to my kids. We’ve put together some recommendations that are worth checking out.”

The day after, the 37-year-old actress presented basketball legend Dikembe Mutombo with the prestigious Sport for Good Award during the Laureus World Sports Awards 2010 at Emirates Palace Hotel on in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

“It feels great to receive such a prestigious award from such a distinguished group of former athletes who recognize the difference you’ve made and your service to the community,” said Dikembe. “This is as big as it gets. I’m happy that my foundation is being recognized. This gives me more courage to continue to do what I do.”

Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple go shopping together at the Miracle Mile shopping district in Americana Manhasset on Wednesday (March 3).

The mother-daughter pair got in some quality bonding time, lunching at Toku-Modern Asian and spending three hours inside the Hirshleifer’s store. Four salespeople were seen bringing things to the private back room for Gwyn so that she could shop in privacy.

FYI: Gwyneth, who toted around a Burberry handbag, wore super chic alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet Denim Front Zip Leggings, hip ankle boots and motorcycle jacket.

Chris Martin arrives with his friend’s daughter at Leblon Sushi restaurant on Saturday (February 27) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (It’s Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland’s wife Chloe and daughter Violet.)

The 32-year-old singer recently revealed that he hopes to have Coldplay‘s fifth album out by Christmas. But don’t expect any tracks to get leaked earlier. “There are only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files. Even we (Coldplay) don’t know how to do it. We couldn’t even steal our own music. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it, and mix it,” he said in an interview.

As for future albums, Chris said, “We signed for a lot [of records], it won’t be the last one. We’re ‘owned’, we can’t do anything without asking someone’s permission.”
