Bachelor Nation star Krystal Nielson announced this week that she’s pregnant with her first child and now her ex-husband Chris Randone is reacting to the news.

Just to refresh your memory, Krystal and Chris met on season five of Bachelor in Paradise back in 2018 and then they tied the knot in 2019. The couple announced their separation in mid-February 2020 after less than a year of marriage.

Now, Krystal is expecting a baby with her new boyfriend Miles Bowles.

During an Instagram Q&A on Friday (November 13), Chris responded to a question that asked, “How do you feel about Krystal being pregnant?”

“Icing on the cake for feeling truly broken,” Chris said. “But I know in my heart I’m gonna find a super dope woman and have the most beautiful babies a dad could ask for. So I’ll continue to follow my heart and let God guide my path in finding an incredible woman to build and grow with.”

Chris was also asked if he was “OK with all the Krystal stuff.” He said in response, “I’ll never be okay about it but I will just continue to be grateful for the years I had with that love. At least the love I had in my heart.”

On tonight’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise, former contestants Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone are getting married with this year’s stars in attendance.

John Paul Jones, someone who was on Hannah‘s season of The Bachelorette and now is on Bachelor in Paradise, caused some drama at the wedding and we’ll see it go down on TV.

“We had heard through our family and friends that there was like a dark cloud that was going over … and that dark cloud was John Paul Jones,” Krystal told Access Hollywood.

Chris added, “I am definitely not a fan of him.”

“He confronts Derek [Peth] very aggressively,” she said. “It caused a huge ripple at the wedding and you could just feel that energy.”

“It was just a complete lack of awareness … with friends and family there and it being (Krystal’s) day … to take away from that is completely selfish. The way he attacks Derek is also completely unacceptable,” Chris said. “It’s very distasteful knowing that our special moment … and to see our friends and family, especially when it happened right in front of my mom. He owes my wife an apology.”

The couple, who fell in love and got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise last June, tied the knot on Sunday afternoon (June 16), People confirms.

Chris and Krystal, both 31, married at the Vidanta Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – which also happens to be the site of their first date! – in an intimate ceremony officiated by Chris Harrison.

Guests at the wedding included Bachelor alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon along with Becca Tilley and Ben Higgins.

“We are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives together,” Krystal told the mag. “We will have each other’s backs forever.”
