Christina Applegate - Emmy Awards 2009

Christina Applegate shines at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress donned a gorgeous navy silk charmeuse gown with a draped front and lace details from Basil Soda. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

After the ceremony, Christina tweeted, “Yay!!! Pizza time, people!”

Christina Applegate: Save 'Samantha Who?'!

Christina Applegate’s has joined Twitter-verse and has started up a petition to save her ABC series, Samantha, Who?.

Earlier this week, it was announced that ABC canceled Christina’s comedy due to economic reasons. The network was reportedly looking to cut $500,000 per episode. According to THR, to do that, the series’ producers were looking to add a third camera to its shoots, keeping the single-camera look but trimming its production schedule.

Christina Applegate - SAG Awards 2009

Christina Applegate hits the red carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 25) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old Samantha Who? star donned an emerald green Emanuel Ungaro gown and finished off her look with a Daniel Swarovski clutch and Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

On the red carpet, Christina admitted she was there for the birth of the Pussycat Dolls. She shared, “”It was created in my garage. I had a little dance studio at my house. [PCD founder] Robin Antin was my roommate and that’s where it was created. I was in it for 10 years on and off. I am a veteran! We had sewn-together costumes [back then] and we had to dance on this little carpet stage.”

A casually dressed Christina Applegate and a gal pal grab lunch together late last month while out and about in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Her Emmy award-winning show, Samantha Who?, returns with its second season this Monday, October 13th @ 9:30PM ET/PT on ABC. (Christina was Emmy nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Jean Smart won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series)

Christina Applegate: I'm Cancer Free!

Christina Applegate is perfectly healthy and cancer-free, she tells Good Morning America.

“I’m clear,” the Samantha Who? star said just one month after being diagnosed with breast cancer. “Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. … They got everything out so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.”

As for when she first heard news of the cancer, Christina shared her initial reaction: “I was so mad. I was just shaking and — and then also immediately, I had to go into … `take-care-of-business-mode,’ which was … I asked them, `What do I do now? What — what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?’”

Christina Applegate: Good Morning, America!

Christina Applegate will open up to ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday about her fight against breast cancer, sources reveal exclusively to JustJared.com.

This will be the first time the 36-year-old Samantha Who? actress will be speaking out on her disease since announcing it to the public two weeks ago via her rep.

Applegate will also be participating in Sept. 5′s Stand Up To Cancer telethon. Guest stars, including Applegate, will answer telephones from viewers calling in pledges. She’ll join Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Lance Armstrong, Charlize Theron, Hilary Swank, America Ferrera, Salma Hayek, Kirsten Dunst, Josh Brolin, Masi Oka and Scarlett Johansson.
