Jon Bernthal's Indie Movie 'Sweet Virginia' Debuts New Trailer

Jon Bernthal is starring in the upcoming indie film Sweet Virginia and a new trailer for the movie was just released.

The 41-year-old actor, best known for his work on The Walking Dead and Marvel’s The Punisher, stars alongside Christopher Abbott, Imogen Poots, and Rosemarie DeWitt.

Here is the synopsis: In the wake of a triple murder that leaves the residents of a remote Alaskan outpost on edge, tightly wound drifter Elwood (Abbott) checks into a motel run by Sam (Bernthal), a former rodeo champion whose imposing physical presence conceals a troubled soul. Bound together by their outsider status, the two men strike up an uneasy friendship—a dangerous association that will set off a new wave of violence and unleash Sam’s darkest demons.

The film hits theaters on November 17 via IFC Films.

Is There an 'It Comes at Night' End Credits Scene?

It Comes at Night is one of the highly anticipated horror movies of the summer, and fans want to know if they should stay in there seats for an end-credits scene.

After rumors swirled that there was going to be a scene after the credits, we got word that there’s no extra scene and you can leave when the movie ends.

The movie stars Joel Edgerton, Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo, and Kelvin Harrison, Jr., and hits theaters on Friday (June 9).

It Comes At Night centers on a teenaged boy (Harrison, Jr.) as he grapples with mounting terrors—external and otherwise—in the aftermath of an unnamed cataclysm.

Jon Bernthal looked sharp at the premiere of his new film Sweet Virginia!

The 40-year-old Walking Dead star stepped out for the event held during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

He was joined by his co-star, La La Land‘s Rosemarie DeWitt, looking gorgeous in a flower-printed dress.

Also in attendance was their co-star Christopher Abbott and director Jamie Dagg.

Sweet Virginia is a drama/thriller that tells the story of a former rodeo champ who befriends a young man with a propensity for violence.

James‘ next project is the animated film Henchmen, which follows Lester (Thomas Middleditch), a new recruit to the Union of Evil, where he is assigned to a motley crew of blue-collar workers led by a fallen henchmen (Marsden), according to Variety.

Tina Fey Calls Out 'Hollywood Bulls--t' After the Oscars

Tina Fey hits the red carpet at the premiere of her movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on Tuesday (March 1) at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.

The 45-year-old actress was joined at the event by her husband Jeff Richmond and her co-stars Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, and Christopher Abbott.

Other stars in attendance included Zosia Mamet (whose boyfriend Evan Jonigkeit is in the movie), Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria, Bob Saget, Tituss Burgess, and Lorne Michaels.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show that day, Tina opened up about her time at the Oscars this past weekend.

“I’m so glad I live here [in New York City], because halfway through [the Oscars], I was like, ‘This is some real Hollywood bulls–t.’ Everyone’s telling me what to do,” Tina said. “People are yelling at me about rape and corporate greed but really it’s climate change. I was like, ‘Guys, pick a lane. Like we’re going to fix everything tonight.’ And also like, ‘You’re all rich. Why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?”
