Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight trilogy are some of the most beloved superhero movies of all time, but does he intend to return to the genre?

The Oppenheimer director worked with Christian Bale to bring Batman to life in the trio of movies, which began with Batman Begins in 2005 and concluded with The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

Over the years, he collaborated with the likes of Heath Ledger, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Katie Holmes and his Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy in the fictional, crime-riddled Gotham City.

During a recent interview, Christopher was asked if he had any plans to make another superhero movie.

Despite making some of the most ambitious and critically lauded sci-fi movies, Christopher Nolan is not a fan of modern technology when it comes to his personal life.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 52-year-old Oppenheimer director revealed that he does not to use a smartphone or email, opting to live an unplugged lifestyle.

Cillian Murphy takes center stage in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming movie Oppenheimer, and the director is looking back on his casting decision.

The 47-year-old actor had already worked on five movies with Christopher before taking a lead role in what’s shaping up to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.

During a recent interview, Christopher explained why Cillian was the obvious choice to portray the “father of the atomic bomb.”

Emily Blunt showed solidarity with her fellow actors on the red carpet at her Oppenheimer premiere as the threat of a SAG-AFTRA strike looms.

The 40-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Matt Damon, Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Kenneth Branagh, Rami Malek and James D’Arcy at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Thursday (July 13) in London, England for the premiere.

While the cast was happy to be supporting their movie, she made it clear that they’d be joining their fellow actors in the strike, which could commence today.

Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh clearly had a great time working together on Oppenheimer and they looked so excited to see each other at the film’s latest press tour stop!

The actresses shared a big hug while posing for photos at the London photo call on Wednesday afternoon (July 12) in Leicester Square in London, England.

Emily and Florence were joined at the event by co-stars Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Matt Damon, as well as writer and director Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas, who produced the movie.

Oppenheimer will be released in theaters everywhere on July 21, 2023. Check out the first reviews from critics following the film’s world premiere in Paris one night earlier.

The highly anticipated movie Oppenheimer just had its world premiere in Paris!

Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, and more walked the red carpet at the event on Tuesday night (July 11) at Le Grand Rex in Paris, France.

Also in attendance were co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, and Jason Clarke, as well as writer and director Christopher Nolan. Matt was joined on the carpet by his kids!

Cillian and Emily previously worked together on A Quiet Place Part II, which was released in theaters back in May 2021 after a long delay due to the pandemic.

Oppenheimer will be released in theaters everywhere on July 21, 2023, which is the same day Barbie is hitting the big screen. AMC Theatres has already reported that more than 20,000 people have purchased tickets to see the two movies on the same day!
