Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen hit the red carpet at the 2012 Billboard Women In Music Luncheon held at Capitale on Friday (November 30) in New York City.

The 28-year-old entertainer was honored with the Woman of the Year distinction! Carly Rae, 27, was highlighted as this year’s Rising Star.

“I felt like my year was last year … I thought my moment had passed,” Katy said in an interview with Jon Stewart.

“I don’t really like to call myself a role model for my fans, but I hope I’m an inspiration, especially for young women,” Katy said while accepting the award.

Carly Rae spoke about her hit “Call Me Maybe”. “It was sort of the key to unlocking the rest of the world for me and was something that none of us were expecting,” she said.

Also at the event were Cher Lloyd and Ciara.

FYI: Katy is wearing Oscar de la Renta with an EFFY ring. Carly Rae is wearing a Rachel Zoe Collection dress and Brian Atwood heels.

Check out the premiere of Ciara‘s latest video for “Got Me Good“!

The singer, who celebrated her 27th birthday yesterday (October 25), throws a dance party in the Joseph Kahn-directed clip off her upcoming album One Woman Army.

“Thank You 2 Everyone that showed me love on My Bday!,” Ciara wrote on her Twitter account. “This day was so sweet and perfect!”

Also pictured: Ciara premiering the “Got Me Good” video on top of the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square on Thursday (October 25) in New York City.

The single is off of the 26-year-old singer’s upcoming album One Woman Army and will be available on iTunes starting June 19.

“Let me in your head, watch you learn some. Tryin’ to see you sweat, watch you burn some,” Ciara sings in the song.

Andy Samberg suits up for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (June 3) in Universal City, Calif.

The 33-year-old comedian was joined by Ciara, who hit the red carpet in a red Balmain dress.
