Lady Gaga Delays 'Chromatica' Release, Reveals She Was Going to Do Surprise Coachella Set

Lady Gaga has announced that her previously announced album Chromatica will be delayed.

“I wanted to tell you, that after a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone the release of Chromatica. I will announce a new 2020 release date soon,” Gaga posted.

“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic,” she continued.

Gaga added, “Instead, I prefer that we spend this time focusing on finding solutions. It’s important to me that the attention is on getting essential medical equipment to healthcare professionals, making sure kids who depend on public schools for meals get the assistance they need, and that we help those who will be financially impacted by this pandemic.”

In addition, Gaga revealed she had a lot in store for this year, including a secret Coachella set she had planned. Coachella has since been postponed from April until October.

Gaga concluded her message with a reminder to stay home, and a promise we will all be able to celebrate, “dance together, sweat together, hug and kiss each other, and make it the most bombastic celebration of all time” when the album finally is released.

Gaga is also supposed to be going out on tour in support of her album.

Coachella & Coronavirus: Festival Might Move to October 2020

The 2020 Coachella Music Festival is likely going to be pushed back from April to October due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The festival promoter Goldenvoice is working with officials on a plan to move the festival to the weekends of October 9 and October 16, according to Billboard.

The Stagecoach Music Festival, which always happens the weekend after Coachella’s second weekend, will possibly be moved to the weekend of October 23.

There have already been several cases of Coronavirus in Riverside County, which is where the Coachella fairgrounds are located in California.

Billboard reports that it is unlikely that every artist currently on the lineup will be able to fit the postponed Coachella into their schedules, but if the headliners are able to make it work, the festival will probably be postponed. The outlet says that if the festival is not postponed, it likely will be canceled.

WILL YOU STILL attend Coachella if it takes place in October?

Will Coachella Be Canceled Because of Coronavirus? Industry Insiders Speak Out

The 2020 Coachella Music Festival is just one month away and fans are wondering if the annual festival is going to get canceled amid Coronavirus concerns.

It was just announced that the Ultra Music Festival in Miami will no longer take place in late March due to concerns about the virus and industry experts expect more festival cancellations to happen.

“I wasn’t worried about the virus until about 10 minutes ago when I saw that Ultra was postponed,” one source told Billboard.

Van’s Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman told the outlet, “I wouldn’t doubt over the next 20 days if we see a festival a day canceled… There’s no one managing it at the federal level, which means this is going to be decided by local officials who wield a ton of power.”

Coachella happens across two weekends in April and the country music festival Stagecoach happens at the same venue one week later.

“They still have a little more time before pulling the cancellation trigger, but unless the situation improves soon, the momentum might be too much for Goldenvoice to stop,” another source said. “If this is going to work out, things need to start going right very soon.”

Amid all of the Coronavirus fears, the U.S. Surgeon General has made a plea for the public to stop buying this one item.

Coachella 2020 Ticket Prices Will Be Lower Than 2019 Prices!

The 2020 Coachella Music Festival is still ten months away, but pre-sale tickets will go on sale this week.

The prices for next year’s festival tickets have been announced and they are actually lower than last year’s prices. The face value for a general admission wristband for the weekend will cost $399, down from $429 in 2019. The VIP wristbands will cost $929, down from $999. These prices are before fees are added in, so those amounts will likely go up a bit.

If you can’t get your hands on pre-sale tickets, the general sale will begin after the lineup is announced in January.

The 2020 Coachella Music Festival will take place on the weekends of April 10-12 and 17-19, 2020.

Ariana Grande Hit with Lemon During Coachella Weekend Two Performance (Video)

It appears as though someone threw a piece of fruit at Ariana Grande during her Weekend Two performance at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival on Sunday night (April 21) in Indio, Calif.

In a video caught by a fan, the 25-year-old entertainer was strutting down the runway when she was pelted in the chest by a lemon. Ariana looks at the fruit before continuing on with her performance.

According to audience members, Ariana stopped the show to address the situation saying, “That’s ’cause one of y’all threw a lemon at me. S–t.”

There’s a lot of speculation as to why the lemon was thrown at Ariana.

Last year, Beyonce made history at Coachella when she became the first ever African American women to ever headline the show. It was then transformed into a documentary titled Homecoming on Netflix.

The lemon-hurling might also be a reaction to the rumors that Ariana was paid double the amount Beyonce did for headlining Coachella, but it was recently reported that the two singers made the same amount.
