Colin Farrell suits up in Dolce&Gabbana for the premiere of his film Total Recall on Wednesday (August 8) in Moscow, Russia.

Earlier in the day, the 36-year-old actor attended the photo call for the action packed film.

Originally, Colin was worried about doing a remake of an original film.

“Films to some of us feel sacrosanct and the idea of remaking something seems like an insult to the original when in fact it’s not” Colin said to Reuters. “While honoring the same conventions and concepts and narrative plot points as the original story, this seemed to stand on its own,” he added about this remake.

Colin Farrell is smoldering at the photo call for his flick Total Recall held at the Ritz Carlton hotel on Wednesday (August 8) in Moscow, Russia.

The 36-year-old actor, in Dolce&Gabbana, is expected to hit the premiere for the movie later in the day!

“I had about four months. I went to the gym every day. I hit the bag, and worked on the mitts with a friend of mine, and I got into really fast jogging. Well, for me it was really fast,” Colin told the Vancouver Sun about prepping for the film. “I ate really well, slept loads, and kept sugar out of it.”

Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, and Colin Farrell attend the premiere of their film Total Recall held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (August 1) in Hollywood.

The cast members were joined by director (and Kate‘s husband) Len Wiseman.

Total Recall is about a factory worker, Douglas Quaid (Farrell), who begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall – a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led – goes wrong and he finds himself on the run.

Make sure to catch Total Recall in theaters this Friday, August 3!

Colin Farrell takes the cover of Men‘s Health UK‘s September 2012 issue, on newsstands now.

Here is what the 36-year-old Total Recall actor had to share with the mag:

On how becoming a father changed him: “What my first son James did was allow me to care for something in this world when I couldn’t care for myself. James saved my life.”

On his son picking up his bad habits: “I’m very aware of trying to be as judicious with my language as possible. I had my kid saying ‘sh*t, sh*t’ when he spilled something the other day. At least it was an appropriate use of the word.”

On his plans for the future: “I want to be as decent and supportive a dad and friend as I can be, and to travel the world like I used to with my mind, but now with my body. I want to be inspired by what I’m able to do. Because I’m a lucky b*stard.”

Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, and Kate Beckinsale are all smiles as they participate in the Total Recall panel at Comic-Con 2012 held at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) in California.

The three co-stars chatted about their reboot of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi flick.

“The film felt different enough that I could go and make it my own,” Colin said about taking on Arnold‘s role. “I did think about messing around with an Austrian accent for about seven minutes.”
