Katie Holmes shows off her bikini-ready body with her shirtless husband Tom Cruise as they take a dip in the pool while celebrating his birthday on Sunday (July 3) in Miami, Fla.

The 49-year-old actor, who took his 5-year-old daughter Suri to get her face painted earlier in the day, also showed off his own painted face, which he cleaned off before going in the pool.

Tom‘s son Connor also joined the family for the pool party. His older daughter Isabella was present at his surprise birthday dinner the evening before.

Tom Cruise spends his birthday with his wife Katie Holmes, daughter Suri and his son Connor on Sunday (July 3) in Miami, Fla.

The 49-year-old actor took Suri to get her face painted and bejeweled to look like a butterfly! The family also went down to the beach for a quick swim.

The day before, Katie threw a surprise birthday party for him at the Soho Beach House, where 40 guests gathered for an Italian dinner, Cuban music, and a large chocolate cake, according to the NY Post.

Tom has been in Miami for the past few weeks while filming his upcoming movie musical Rock of Ages.

Katie Holmes carries her daughter Suri into the Soho Beach House hotel on Saturday (July 2) in Miami, Fla.

The 32-year-old actress was joined by her husband Tom Cruise and his son Connor, who was sporting a new tattoo on his right upper arm.

Later in the afternoon, Katie joined Suri and Tom‘s older daughter Isabella on the balcony of their hotel room to enjoy the weather.

Katie, whose film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark will be released next month, recently told JustJared.com her feelings on the horror genre.

“I’m a fan of classic horror films like The Exorcist, Rosemary’s Baby. This reminded me a lot of those kinds of films because the characters were going through real emotional problems. There was tension. There was high stakes. It made the scares more scary,” Katie said.

Katie Holmes comes out to support and honor her husband, Tom Cruise, during the 2011 Simon Wiesenthal Center National Tribute Dinner at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday (May 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“It’s a tremendous honor,” Tom said as he received the Humanitarian Award for his work as a philanthropist. “For me and my family this is really a very special evening and I look at what Simon Wiesenthal accomplished with his life, what this museum represents. Our challenge, ladies and gentlemen, is to make sure that we do all in our power to see to it that there will be no more Auschwitz/Birkenaus, no more Rwandas, no more Darfurs on our planet. That our children and their children may be free to live in a world where men and women are judged by their accomplishments and deeds rather than by their race or religion.”

Tom was also accompanied at the event by his son, Connor, as well as movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Tom Cruise and David Beckham chat during the Lakers game at the Staples Center on Sunday (March 27) in Los Angeles.

Katie Holmes heads to the ABC Studios to tape her appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly in New York City on Tuesday morning (September 7).

The 31-year-old actress received the support of her whole family — husband Tom Cruise, daughter Suri, and Tom‘s kids Connor and Isabella.

Before promoting her new movie The Romantics, Katie shared a bit about Suri‘s fashion.

“Suri‘s very helpful,” Katie shared. “I ask her which shoes to wear and she picks them out! Many times, I’ll be getting ready for an event and I’ll ask her what she thinks. She goes, ‘Definitely those.’ And she won’t let me leave unless I’m wearing what she wants me to wear. She has great taste and I want to make her happy!”
