Members are being given the option the pause memberships for one month. Theaters in certain states are closed right now and other AMC theaters are remaining open, though with limited capacity.

“A-Listers, we understand your concern during this unprecedented time, and we’ve got you covered. The option to pause your A-List membership is now available – just sign into your account through our website or mobile app, and check your MyAMC dashboard,” the company said in a statement.

When you go to cancel, this is a disclaimer that you’ll see: “Pausing will take effect on your next billing cycle for a period of 1 month. Your benefits and monthly charge will automatically be reinstated on the following billing period. This action is irreversible.”

Additionally, any A-List member who did not renew their membership any time so far in calendar year 2020 will not have to wait the customary 6 months to rejoin,” the company said.
